I just received my Smart Broom today and seriously cannot put it down! I have been sweeping all day and I am loving my new toy! I am the proud momma to 11 indoor cats (yes, you read that right, I did say 11 indoor cats) so you know that I have a cat hair problem. Now, it does take some elbow grease to use this broom on carpet (carpet does not really like being swept with a broom) but, wow, it gets the cat hair out! It was even picking up dirt and cat litter out of the carpet! On my hardwoods, using it as a push broom, it was even sweeping up the super fine dirt that other brooms and even vacuuming can't get up (I even did a white sock test)! I don't think there is any need for a microfiber dust cloth broom if you have the Smart Broom.I am still trying to get my carpet sweeping technique down, do I push it or pull it towards me? Either way it seems to work just as well although the broom head is slightly curved so when you pull it towards you it ends up not picking stuff up in the center as well (unless you put more pressure). It does not have that issue if you are pushing the dirt and hair away from you but then you have to bend a little lower so that the broom head is not at much of an angle to the carpet.The quality of the broom is excellent! Nice sturdy handle, the broom head gives no impression of being easily broken. It is a TALL broom, as tall as I am (I am about 5'2)!Overall, this is an excellent product and I am so happy with my purchase!

I bought it for the extra width. It is well made. However the blue broom material seems stiffer and less flexible.It is not as as effective as the black soft rubber brooms either as a blade squeegee or as a broom.I will use it on rougher surfaces in the yard.By comparison, the FURremover broom has superior properties.I have ordered another of those.

Its 16" so its small for a broom/squeegee. It does however get the job done. All winter long in PA I deal with large amounts of water in my garage as the ice is brought in with the cars and melts. This allows me to push all of the road salt and water out of the garage with ease. I enjoyed using it so much I decided to use it to move the slush and water off of my driveway after shoveling to have the cleanest driveway in the neighborhood. The rubble bristles are more effective than my other broom and push brooms as I was able to get dried oil that had leaked from a turbo that was replaced incorrectly in the Fall.

Was looking for a good household broom for cleaning up dog hair, etc. We have primarily laminate floors, tile in kitchen, bathrooms and dining room. We have area rugs in the bedrooms and living room. We were getting the issue of hair building up on the rugs. Couple minutes of this and all my German shepards build up that had occurred was gone. Very impressive, quality seems to be top knotch and nothing feels flimsy about the product. Top that off with the product is actually made in the USA ?

I have had a broom from this company--Yellow Top--for over 15 years--it is that well-made, and made in the USA! That 15 year-old broom is still a fantastic broom and I still use it, but I wanted another one because my husband always tried to confiscate my Yellow Top broom. He has several other rubber brooms from other companies, but he said none of them compared to this one! It isn't often you get a product that lasts this long and is such an effective cleaning tool. I love this broom and the new one is just as well-made & as sturdy as the old one.

Husband loves this. He uses one for the outside patio and one inside for the rug and tile floors. Works for almost anything. Great on getting dirt and leave out of cracks on the patio or when something small like salt is spilled; helps clean that up easily. Love this new bigger size. Even if you only need it or use it a few times a year it is worth it; this coming from someone that gets tired of gadgets that don't work. Get this.

This broom is of better construction (solid, durable) than the broom I was replacing. Unfortunately, this broom design just does not sweep well for me. The broom head has a bow (apparently intended design) and one must press down with considerable pressure so that the entire broom head makes contact with the floor. Many reviews extol its virtues...I don't see it. My old broom is lighter, not as solidly constructed, but it sweeps circles around this design.

Just what I needed! This sweeps up pet hair and gets into the grooves of my floors. Also, it has a wider base than the others do. The only thing I wish is that it would come in a Straight Up option instead of an angle; other than that it does a great job. I would buy this again. Also,
