Powerful! Accurate. A Bit Noisier Than Expected.
This is a powerful air rifle, probably too powerful for what I need, but my last air rifle was 40 years ago & things have come a long way in the mean time! On reflection I should've bought the less powerful Swarm Whisper, but like I said I wasn't aware of how far these Nitro Piston rifles have come....not that I'm complaining! It handles well, seems robust, trigger is usable (hopefully it improves with use) & yeah, powerful! It is noisier than I expected, but this thing throws pellets HARD. I'm still zeroing in the scope, but accuracy certainly seems to be there with GAMO Red Top pellets. The scope is cheap & basic, but it works fine, being nice & clear, bright, holds zero & has a good zoom range. I see no need to replace it so it's staying on there.I have to say that I'll probably add the Whisper version, too, as I'm using it for rodent control & for smaller vermin like rats that'd be better, with the Swarm Magnum in 22 cal being best for longer ranges & bigger sized targets. But I'm keeping this one, oh yeah I'm impressed.

Awesome Gun!
Alright, let’s talk about why the Gamo Swarm Magnum 10X GEN3i Inertia Fed .22 Caliber Break Barrel Air Rifle is hands-down one of the most awesome air rifles out there. If you’re into power, precision, and just flat-out fun, this beast delivers in spades.First off, the power—this thing slings .22 caliber pellets at up to 1,300 fps with alloy ammo. That’s serious knockdown force, perfect for small game like rabbits or squirrels, or just obliterating targets in your backyard. The IGT Mach 1 gas piston is the heart of it, a 33mm cylinder that pumps out consistent, jaw-dropping velocity with way less vibration than a traditional springer. Smoother shots, less fatigue, and you can leave it cocked without worrying about wear—try that with a lesser rifle. Then there’s the 10X GEN3i inertia-fed magazine. Ten shots without reloading? Yes, please. The system uses recoil to index the next pellet, so follow-up shots are lightning-fast and seamless. It’s like having a semi-auto feel in a break-barrel package—revolutionary stuff. Load it up, break the barrel, and you’re ready to rock again. No fumbling with single pellets in the cold or heat of the moment.Accuracy? Oh, it’s there. Pair it with the right pellets (Gamo Red Fires or some heavy hitters like H&N Barracudas), and you’re drilling tight groups at 25-50 yards. The two-stage adjustable CAT trigger lets you dial in the perfect pull—crisp, clean, and tailored to you. Add the included 3-9x40 scope, and you’re picking off targets with precision that’ll make your buddies jealous. And let’s not skip the Whisper Fusion tech—dual sound moderators make this one of the quietest in Gamo’s lineup. It’s not silent, but it’s stealthy enough to keep the neighbors from griping while you dispatch pests. The all-weather stock feels solid, with a grippy texture that’s built to handle whatever you throw at it.Cocking takes some muscle (41 lbs of effort), but that’s the trade-off for this kind of power. Once you get the hang of it, it’s a small price to pay for a rifle that hits this hard and shoots this well. Whether you’re hunting, plinking, or just showing off, the Gamo Swarm Magnum 10X GEN3i is a game-changer. Pure, unadulterated airgun awesomeness.

Accurate and powerful
The scope needs to be sited in. Once that was completed I found the rifle to be very accurate at 30 yards. Our property has been over run with squirrels and they are damaging our home and property. The rifle has enough power to drop a squirrel in a single shot so they don’t suffer. My friend has the gen 2 version and the gen 3 is much more powerful.

Great Air Rifle!
This is a cool item. I am finding a lot of joy targeting, plinking, and small game hunting. It takes a strong arm and is not all that silent. I believe it was a good value! Trusted Brand!

Looking for power and accuracy? This is it
I did a lot of research looking for just the right pellet gun to eliminate turtles from my 3/4 acre pond and this did it. Powerful enough to penetrat the shell and accurate enough for head shots at 50'+/-. Highly recommended

Great Ari rifle, poor packing
The packaging is not intended for today's "Ace Ventura" delivery people. The box was intact, but it had been banged around enough to bust the plastic wrap and styrofoam buffers. Fortunately the rifle was ok. Once cleaned, inspected and the scope mounted the product functioned fine. I don't care for the low end scope, it will be tossed as soon as a better airgun rated scope is selected. Do your homework. It's one of the best factory air rifles on the market today. This one got to respectable 1/2" groups with factory pellets @ 25 yards in 6 shots. Every rifle is different and with the right pellet it will get a 5 shot, 1 hole group at 25 yards. BE WARNED! THIS IS NOT A TOY!!! This is a great, but serious tool for entering and enjoying precision airgun sports or pest (raccoon or armadillo) control. The cocking effort is enough to reinforce that fact. It may be the only air rifle you ever need and will be money very well spent.

Good power and accuraccy
Revising my review. The first cock on the rifle was very stiff. I put it on a bathroom scale and used just the end of the barrel to push down. It was over 72lbs on the scale to cock it, but it has subsequently loosened up a bit. I was impressed at how accurate it was just bolting on the scope and using it. I did have to sight it in a bit and i dont use it at 100yds but its close enough to get the job done. Plenty of power in the shots, im very pleased with it.

The scope is the weakest link.
This is a good rifle from gamo, but the scope is the weak point here. If I do my part well enough I can put four or five shots through the same ragged hole with gamo redfire at 25 yd. Good accuracy. At about 200 pellets fired I shot once and the scope lost focus at any and all ranges, would not complete 3-9 (physically it would only do 4-9), and was unusable. No drops or any other wear and tear. The combo scope was fine until it wasn’t with one shot.
