I cannot say enough about how happy and impressed we are with the Crane Travel Humidifier. We bought 2 on a whim since we were going to be traveling and with the need for a humidifier this seemed like the perfect solution. Not going lie, I had my doubts about these and how well they would actually work...boy oh boy was I surprised and had my doubts laid to rest within the first 5 minutes of using this. All I had to do was pre-soak the wick (fancy name for the filter that goes inside the little humidifier) put the wick into the top of the humidifier and attach the long base to the top, put it into a cup of water and then plug it in and turn it on...and of which took 1 minute after the wick was soaked (super fast and easy). When you plug it in the ring around the top will turn red...once you touch the power sign (YES IT IS TOUCH SCREEN) the ring will turn blue and a steady stream of mist comes out...that's it, that's all there is to it. Cleaning has been easy and the fact that it is perfect for traveling in a car, taking on trips to use in hotel rooms and at family houses has been a life saver for myself and my family. I have used it at work since I can easily plug it into my USB port on my computer or plug it into the electrical outlet on the wall. Universal and reliable, we live the Crane Travel Humidifier.

I unpacked the product based on the directions. When I plugged it in, nothing happened. The water level never went down. The steam didn't come out. It sat there for three days turned on and not working. But here's the kicker - when I went to replace/return the item, it could not be returned or replaced. Money lost on a useless product. Honestly, the manufacturer will not return requests for help, and Amazon would not come to my assistance. I'm a singer and dry hotel rooms are terrible on my voice. Forget this product. It is cheaply made and does not work.

The size is good for my bedside table. Just fill it once at faucet and it mists all night. No noise. Doesn't quite last 8 hours but enough to keep the air around you moist. Good for seniors because not bulky and heavy to fill.

I have my own personal Crane humidifier and I’m very pleased with its performance. Micro Mist. Water lasts a long time. Easy to use. I can fit in my purse. Use at office. Next to chair. Bedside.

Neat little device. Shoot mist with no noise and doesn’t take that much room. It being usb power make it super handy to travel with. It even comes with a pouch.While the instructions looks like a lot, it’s really simple. Just fill the cup that came in the package, or any cup, with water and insert the device into the cup and let it sit for 15min for wick to soak up. Just don’t put too much water as you don’t what it wet past the horizontal line on the device.Put the cup on a good surface with stem inserted, feed it power via AC plug or usb, press/tap the power button on (red = off, blue = on), and out comes cool mist within seconds.*Didn’t work the first time*Wondering if the wick wasn’t making contact with the metal plate. I detach the stem from the top part (bulb), removed and reattached the wick by flipping the bulb upside down (semi-clear plastic covering electronics facing up) insert and seat the wick in the hole (don’t put too much pressure) till it hits the metal plate at the very end. Reattach bottom stem and make sure wick hits the stem spring. You’ll see it from two open slits on the very end of the stem. Twist to close till you feel a click. Worked after that.

I am so disappointed. I was excited to buy this unit but was concerned about some of the reviews I read saying it stopped working immediately after the return window closed. That was my case. While it was working, it was great -- but it stopped working on day 36. **Addendum - The company's prompt customer service in helping me get this product replaced (outside of Amazon's return window, but still valid through Crane's 1-year manufacturer warranty) was appreciated. I've changed my rating from 1- to 3-stars for this reason.

This humidifier is perfect for my mid-size bedroom. It will bring the humidity level from 36% to 48% overnight. And, it's adorable! In order to travel with it, just remove the filter wick and squeeze the water out with a towel and throw it back into the little travel bag. Some people have complained that it leaves a pool of water around the humidifier. The instructions state that you need to soak the filter wick in water for 5 minutes before using it for the first time. I believe those users may have neglected to complete this step. The one time that I traveled with it and put the filter in dry, forgetting to saturate it first, the same thing happened to me. As long as you run the wick under water for a minute or so prior to using for the first time, you should be fine. You don't have to do that every day, just when the wick has been completely dried out. I use it daily, in my bedroom at night and then I take it with me whenever I travel. I love it. Also, did I mention how cute it is??

Great little humidifier. Perfect for travelling, lasts about 7 or 8 hours. Keeps my child happy throughout the night!

This is terrible, it DOES NOT WORK. I have tried all the wicks, presoaked for ages, still doesn't work. I leave it on all night and in the morning the water level's only gone down an inch or so. The wicks are plasticy, not cotton or absorbent material. Too bad, I have another Crane humidifier and I love it, thought this would be equal quality but it's not at all.
