I wish I learned about Folex carpet cleaner years earlier. Since college, I’ve always relied on home Bissell carpet cleaner machines to handle any carpet stains. I was never a fan of the scent of their carpet detergent (green bottle), which to me always smelled like cigarettes to me. I’d often follow-up any carpet stains cleaning with a round of hot water extraction without any Bissell detergent mixed in, just to lighten up the scent. The proof of how well the Bissell worked was always in how dirty the extracted water was good enough to offset the particular detergent scent. When I later had a dog, and they had an accident, I would continue to use the Bissell, and even but their robo-spot cleaner, which was quite convenient.Nevertheless, whenever I spilled some coffee or soft drink onto the carpet, it was too big a hassle to get out the Bissell, so I would just use Resolve spot cleaner. Not a fan of the scent of that either, but it was good enough without having to whip out the Bissell.But when my last bottle of Resolve was used up, I decided to see if there was anything else on the market that worked well.did the Amazon search and was shocked to see this generic looking Folex carpet cleaner with over 200k reviews, so highly rated. I couldn’t believe I never heard of something that so many people swear by, so I ordered a bottle.Absolutely works very quickly, better and faster than Resolve, and does so without any harsh scent. It was amazing how easily it worked, with just a paper towel. With other spot cleaners, a lot of elbow grease is required and I;d often need to get a cloth out to rub the stain very vigorously. With Folexm however the stain was gone with only 1-2 second of effort” including some sticky stains. Just magical. I will never use a different spot cleaners again.

Folex is hands-down one of the best cleaning products I’ve ever used. Every single person should own a bottle — seriously. It works wonders on couch and furniture stains. I first heard about it from a Restoration Hardware employee who told me they use it on their floor samples to keep them looking fresh. That was all the convincing I needed, and now I’m on at least my tenth bottle. It’s easy to use, incredibly effective, and has saved more upholstery than I can count. The bottle lasts a long time and is well-priced for the size. Total game-changer!

Works instantly and great on all carpets. Takes out any kind of doggy stain and odor with no scrubbing. Just spray, let sit a very short time and blot. Recommend this product to all cat/dog owners

I would say for the price point. It does a pretty great job with stains. I’ve actually used it beyond my rugs. I’ve used it on the fabric on our dining room table chairs, and seems to work great on our outdoor fabric patio chairs too.

I use this with my spot cleaner/extractor. I spray the mixture out onto the carpet/other porous surface, then either hand-brush it in with a nylon brush or, in worse situations, I use a drill-powered brush to work it in really well. Then, I use the extractor to pull most of it back out. It cleans pretty well and leaves no noticeable residue afterward, and seemingly has no odor. It does foam up a bit or I'd almost suspect they were selling water in the container. That's not a complaint, though. While working just plain water into a spill/dirty spot with a brush and extracting it would clean it quite well, the Folex stuff goes further and seems to help remove old stains and other such problems.The only thing I can't seem to get rid of are some UV-luminescent stains. Depending on the cause of the stain, sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. For example, cat barf often leaves a permanent, UV-luminescent stain on the carpet. No matter how much I clean it with the Folex and a drill-mounted brush, it doesn't go away. It's hard to really fault the Folex, though, since that's probably an impossible task. However, when my kid was a baby/toddler he'd eat applesauce packets and sometimes toss them on the ground in his bedroom. Sometimes the applesauce would get on the carpet and cause a luminescent stain, even after hand-cleaning the stain with a rag. The Folex does remove these stains completely after being worked-in and extracted out.

I used this product for stubborn stains on Flor carpet tiles. Spray on, light scrub, blot dry - stains disappeared. Easy to use and effective.

I wish I would have taken before pictures. We just bought our house and some of the carpets had black stains on them. I sprayed on, let it sit a few minutes then used a soft scrub brush to brush it in. I then used an old cloth and pushed some of the moisture into the cloth. Pale gold carpets look nearly new. I highly recommend!

It works a little . For me, I tried to clean up a smashed blueberry on a white carpet but the stain just spread. To be fair I’m not sure if it was the peroduct or if I didn’t follow the directions right? Now I’m scared to try it on any new stains
