Great aid for walking
The item is as described, and I am very pleased with it. I bought two, one for my wife and one for myself, to help us as we queued to pay respect to HM The Queen at Westminster. As a walking stick the item was helpful, and it was very good to be able quickly to unfold it to sit down for a period before quickly folding it up again.

Stable to sit on
Needed a seat walking stick to be able to have a rest when walking. This model is stable when sitting down (note the safe way to sit is with the stick in front). The length of the tripod can be adjusted easily. It is not as good when walking as a plain stick but I do not mind that because being able to sit down whenever I want is very handy. The whole thing is not very heavy or very cumbersome (I am only 5 feet tall). I have used it a few times now and am very pleased with it.

too heavy for my friend with Parkinsons to use as a stick..
