Review as of June 1, 2016.So far this product is working great. I have a 4 year old French Bulldog who just recently began to develop a very dry nose. I looked at various cremes and formulas on the internet and came across Snout Magic after looking at a very similar product. Both were organic and consisted of the same ingredients however Snout Magic was 25% cheaper, and had great customer reviews, so I decided to try it.Whenever the package arrived, I initially thought that the aluminum tin was a small, until I opened it. The creme is more like a lip balm consistency, and will provide many uses. Once I received it, I went ahead and applied it to my pup. Like the instructions state, I gave him a treat to keep him a little occupied, but he still went at it. Thankfully he can't exactly reach it. The instructions state that it takes about 3 days (applying it 3 times daily), however within the second application, I began to notice a difference. It is legitimately working, and is VERY noticeable. My frenchie has his nice shiny black nose again.Since purchasing the product the customer service has been great and consistent. I have been contacted to ensure customer satisfaction.I would definitely recommend this product to anyone wanting to cure a dry nose for their best friend!UPDATE: June 22,2016It has now been 3+ weeks of use and I truthfully regret not purchasing this earlier for my frenchie. His nose remains nice and smooth. I apply as directed (My dog now knows what the sound of the tin can means). The only con for myself is that treats no longer keep him pre-occupied... he immediately tries to lick it off. The frisbee wont even distract. What I ended up doing is apply it around his sleep/nap times. He is almost to lazy to keep on licking at it! :)ALSO: prior to applying this, I TOTALLY forgot to take a before picture. I did however find a picture that was taken a few days earlier, and I was able to zoom in some so you could see how dry his nose was. I included both the before and the 3+ weeks after photos now. Sorry if the before one is a tad blurry!

So the photos I added are a progression over 3 days. I was about to take my dog to the vet for his painful looking crusty nose- then figured why not see if there is a product to just try first? I found this one and chose it because my dog has a lot of allergies. Like anaphylactic allergies where he needs emergency treatment, so I chose this product that doesn’t have a bunch of added ingredients and scents. I can barely sense a smell of anything in this tin which is great. I have applied 2-3 times a day for 3 days and my dog’s nose is 80% better. I’m not sure if you can see in the photos but his nostril was becoming blocked with thick crusty skin and it’s already so much better. And no problem with reactions. I have just rubbed in about 4 rubbings from the tin each application. My dog doesn’t seem to mind it at all. And my gosh has it made him more handsome!! Thank you for a wonderful product!!!Update a couple of days later. I added one more picture. Nose is still improving. It feels very tough but I think might just take a few weeks to fully heal since it was so bad to begin with. Looking better each day!

If I get a bit inside her nostril, my dog does not sneeze or seem bothered by it. She is less likely to lick it off, and she does not hide from us at treatment time. Its labeling and instructions are superior to other brands, and its price per ounce is a better value.Customer service is also very important to the seller. I received unsolicited inquiries about delivery as well as advice about my dog's situation. Communication was prompt, professional, and enthusiastic.

Our little chihuahua mix had a cracked, bleeding, crusty nose for almost two months that kept getting worse. The vet couldn't figure it out and even gave her a shot and prescribed topical medicine. Nothing made it better. Visit 2 to the vet: she said if it didn't improve in a week she wanted to do a biopsy and would have to put her under. Fast forward a week later, with no improvement, when we stumbled across this amazing nose butter. It started to work the first day. Two days in and the crust started coming off, revealing new skin underneath. A few days after that we used it in conjunction with an antibacterial creme that a new vet prescribed, but by that point, she was almost all better. After two weeks of use, her nose is healthy and back to normal and she's a happy camper. I can't recommend this product enough. It was truly the best thing we've ever done for our dog and I'll continue to use it forever! The photo is a before, during, and after.

It seems to work good on my Boxer Lola's nose because she has a bit of that keratosis. We try to keep something on her for the most part several times a week. We usually use Bio-Balm but decided to try something different. This goes on smooth & doesnt smell weird. Lola doesnt seem to mind it any differently than the other brands. It is a little more solid than the other ones we tried. I have to scrape it with my fingernail to soften it up in a little patch so I can get it on my finger enough to swipe on her nose. That I would say is my only difficulty with the product. I wish that they would make something that lasted a little longer (but that has been none of the ones that we've tried.) Overall I think that it is a good product.
