Expensive compared to clothes pins, way less than typical photo gear.
This is very convenient. There are some sharp edges and the whole assembly feels a bit flimsy, but if you are hanging film, it's plenty strong enough for that. It takes up very little space when folded and holds a lot of film when deployed. It comes with plenty of separate clips. The price is modest enough when compared to photo clips, but if you have room for a clothes line, then clothes pins are cheaper, of course.I like it and I'm glad I bought it.

Works perfectly for what I needed
I had been hanging my wet negatives in all sorts of places after processing, usually with clothespins. But if I had two or more, I ran into space issues. With either the single clothespin solution or this device, it's important to hang drying negatives in an open space. I was using a plant hook in the ceiling most of the time. This lets me use an open space in a closet or other clothes hanging bar or a ceiling mounted hook (I use the ceiling hook). It also lets me hang more negatives than I'll ever process at one time without running out of locations to hang them. Overall a great product.

GREAT INVESTMENT
I definitely needed one of these. I used to use large binder clips, but for a lot of residual drippage. Sturdy, and I love how many negatives you can hang at once. Also, I love that it has a hook at the top, so you can pretty much hang it anywhere!

Indispensable for large format photography.
I was having a hard time finding enough clips to hold 10 4x5 negatives. This is perfect for letting sheet film dry.

Great space saver
I needed a way to hang my film to dry that didn't require a hook for each strand. I tend to develop 6-8 rolls at a time and don't have a lot of space, so this was the perfect addition to my developing process. It

It will get the job done, just not sure of the build quality.
For the price it's not bad, I'm just not sure how long it will last. The build quality seems rather low. But for what I paid not bad.

Feels filmsly in the hands and overall is poorly constructed
For the price, this is very poorly constructed. The metal is very thin gauge. The clips don't have rivets or pins holding it together. The clips are just held together with bent over sheet metal. Seems like it would still work, but the overall construction does not give me confidence that it will last.

Does the job!
Overall I think the price for this items is a bit high for what you get. The design is OK and allows me to hang many rolls of film to dry however the clips are just marginal at best. The overall build quality is just OK. It will definitely do the job that I want however I would've liked it better if it had sold for under $20.

Does the job.
It’s handy to hang negs but tricky to balance.
