Best grits I’ve ever had !
The best grits a grit-loving fool like me could ask for. Old fashioned southern style grits that are just WAY better than instant grits or any brand I’ve tried, especially typical market brands. Nice taste and texture. I’ve tried many brands and this is by far the best. I highly recommend them and eat them daily

Good grits but waaay to expensive for the amount.
Good quality grits are an important staple in the southern diet. Breakfast isn't complete without creamy grits cooked slow and served with eggs, bacon or sausage and biscuits. Perhaps with shrimps or catfish for dinner. It's not a complicated food or expensive to produce. If you grew up in the country, it's about one of the cheapest food stuffs you can buy, eaten and enjoyed by wealthy and poor alike. It's available in local stores and farmer's markets with different sellers trying to different themselves with their grind, corn mix, or distinctive flavor proclamations. But for the most part, as long as it isn't quick instant grits from Quaker or the like (look and tasted like spackle), you should be alright. I bought these because the local supermarkets stopped carrying all but the mainstream, mass-produced flavorless, GMO varieties. They tasted fine and like I expected, but when I saw how little grits I got for what I paid, I decided then and there that when they were gone, I'd be better off driving 30 miles outside of town to the farmer's market and buying it in bulk at Costco.

Southern low country essential
Excellent course ground, stone ground yellow grits. Low and slow cooking -- I use a rice cooker! Delicious plain with butter and as a base in southern recipes like shrimp and grits. Price was OK for Amazon Prime delivery; Carolina Grits website provides other options and choices.

Good grits but expensive for the size of the bag.
I needed stone ground grits for a shrimp and grits recipe. The grits were delivered by late the next evening so that worked out well enough. I made the recipe the following day. The grits weren't as coarse ground as I would have preferred, but they did the job. The bag surprised me when it arrived as it was smaller then expected. I made one recipe that serves 4 people. I probably can make the recipe one more time with what's remaining in the bag. But for the price, and my preference for a coarser grind of grits, I'll probably be looking elsewhere for my next purchase of grits.

Best Grits Ever!
I think these grits are the best I've ever had. The white grits are a perfect color and texture. They are easy to prepare, no matter your method, and are never lumpy and always delicious. I am a pot on the stove kind of person but out of curiosity I prepared them in my rice cooker. Perfect! I won't buy any other grits but these. Plain and simple.
