Super Absorbent and affordable! True to size
I use to have a problem with cardboard until I got use to using it and it doesn’t bother me anymore. I ordered many boxes because I like using different sizes like light, super, and regular, so I did purchase other boxes too, but the thing is I only order Tampax because it’s the only brand that is actually larger and absorbent. These ones are actually super plus unlike other brands where you’ll buy super, expecting extra absorbency, but then it looks like a regular size. These ones are actually very absorbent and I wont use another brand unless I have no other choices. Also like how affordable this box is compared to their plastic applicators. Besides, cardboard is probably better for the environment. Definitely a good deal and half the price of other boxes that I’ve ordered through Tampax.

Tried and True — Comfortable, Reliable, and Better for the Planet
I know cardboard applicators are considered more “old school,” but honestly? I prefer them. I’ve been using this exact brand and style for over 20 years, and they’ve always felt the most comfortable and dependable for me — especially during heavier days. The plastic ones often pinch or feel awkward, but the cardboard has a smoother, more natural feel that just works better with my body. They’re also a bit more eco-friendly, which matters to me — less plastic waste and simpler materials. It’s one of those products I never think twice about because it’s that reliable. I know what I’m getting every time.If you’re looking for something that’s familiar, effective, and just does the job well, this is it. Sometimes the classics really are the best.I also buy them on Amazon every time because they seem to be leaving store shelves and are harder for me to find.

The best
I absolutely love love love these tampons. These are Super Plus absorbency, and are meant to hold 12-15 grams. There's 40 in a box and each ones is individually wrapped. These are unscented and free of perfume, chlorine bleaching, and dyes. The price is fantastic, it's cheaper to go through Amazon for these than in store. I used to be able to find the cardboard applicator tampons in stores but they are becoming more and more elusive to find, all the way to non existent. And if I was ever able to find these in store, they were always much more expensive than the plastic applicator ones? Weird. Thankfully, Amazon has these bad boys always stocked. These seem to absorb better, and I have found they also keep leaks from happening. With the plastic ones, sometimes what is coming out would bypass the tampon all together. It's advertised that the braid on the plastic one is supppsed to solve that, but it doesn't do it like the cardboard ones do. The string feels more in tact on these as well, making it more controllable when removing the tampon. I like these because they don't have the plastic tip applicator, which is horrible for the environment and they don't break down like the cardboard does. Even the wrapper on these breaks down easily and efficiently, compared to the plastic applicator ones which also have a plastic like wrapper. The only thing I do maybe like about the plastic applicator is just the ease of putting the tampon in, it glides in better and the tampon comes out of the applicator a little better. I have however found a little trick to help solve this - when using the cardboard applicator ones, after taking it out of the wrapper packaging, shift the cardboard on the bottom section ( the section you normally push to get the tampon to go in ) shimmy it just a little bit up and down before you go to put it in, it loosens up the cardboard and helps it not feel like it's sticking or getting stuck trying to push the cardboard applicator to get the tampon in. Please don't ever stop carrying these!!!!For those that might need more info on what absorbency is right for you when getting Tampax brand:Light absorbency - less than 6 gramsRegular absorbency - 6-9 gramsSuper absorbency - 9-12 gramsSuper Plus absorbency - 12-15 gramsUltra absorbency - 15-18 grams

Quality + Affordable
I believe these are one of the most affordable boxes of tampons I’ve gotten. Affordable, with maximum quantity. 40 tampons is great. They are the cardboard applicator which Isn’t my favorite but I’m trying to use less plastic. They’ve been holding up real nice for me so that’s what matters. As well as not spending a fortune on feline products every month. This will last me about 2 period cycles. Which is better than what I usually get.

The Only Brand I Trust. 23 Years and Counting
I’ve been using the Tampax Super Plus for 23 years and it’s the only one I trust. It’s getting a lot harder to find lately, so I stocked up while I could. I can’t find them in the stores around me anymore. I personally prefer the cardboard applicators over plastic and it’s not for any big reason. It’s mostly befsuse that is what my mom bought me when I first started using tampons and I’ve stuck with it ever since. I’ve tried other brands, plastic, menstrual cups and period underwear and I always come back to these. They’ve always worked well for me and I hope they don’t disappear completely before I go through menopause.

Good Value and Fits In There
Handy item if you intermittently bleed from your vagina. Even better if you're of the mindset that there's already way too much single-use plastic in the world. *BONUS* in every package: realizing that blood is slippery enough as it is (esp if heavy enough for a Super Plus), that "fancy ultra diamond glide" plastic applicators are (for most folks) not a vital necessity, and that paperboard is both renewable and cheaper.Give your uterus the utilitarian value that every true Queen deserves- shop smarter, skip the pink tax, and choose these.

Tampax Cardboard Tampons
I’ve been using Tampax Cardboard Tampons in the Super Plus Absorbency for a while now, and overall, I’m quite satisfied with their performance. The anti-slip grip makes them easy to insert, even on the heaviest days, and I appreciate the LeakGuard skirt for added protection. They’re unscented, which is a plus for me, as I prefer to avoid any fragrances. My only issue is that I occasionally find them a bit less comfortable than some other brands, especially when wearing them for extended periods. However, they do their job well and provide reliable protection. I would recommend them for their quality and effectiveness!
