Solidly made & does what it's made to do, you can of course put other items in it, I bought two.

Good item, except for ridges underneath
One star off since the underneath of the 4 corners has L-shaped ridges. These would scratch the window ledge, so I've had to stick felt pads on. Otherwise good tray for oils

Excellent magazine holder
Third lot of these bought so far for my expanding monthly magazine collection, must remember to start reading them as I’ve got 23 so far !!Nicely made from sturdy plastic, which is much better than card ones that were sent to recycling centre years ago.To make them super level I added four self adhesive pads to the bottom cornersLook great on the ikea shelf.
