My bar arrived two days earlier than expected and the packaging was obliterated into three parts. Luckily the clips were still there, and the bar looks absolutely pristine. My previous bar was one that you buy in five pieces that must be put together. This one is perfect by comparison. It doesn't look or feel cheap in the slightest. The cross hatching is not smoothed at all so it will really give a lot of grip to the bar. This will help a lot with bench pressing. I also noticed the bar is about the same thickness as any topical Olympic bar you encounter. When a bar is thinner even by the slightest amount it tends to press more weight into the palms and make lifting more difficult. A thicker bar spreads the weight more evenly across the palm allowing the user to focus more on the lift. This is especially true for those with less musculature in their palms like myself. The bar is incredibly shiny with its chrome finish. I reckon in time the friction between my rack and the bar will leave some marking. I will try to update in the future if it seems especially egregious though I honestly don't expect it to be. I expect this piece of equipment to be around for the duration of my life and maybe I will one day even train grandchildren on it. It's big, metal, heavy and useful. I look forward to many years of use.

This bar is great for what I need to do at home. It is more comparable to a men’s O lift bar. It weighs around 40lbs and the circumference of the grip is that of a similar brand in the men’s. I’m female with smaller hands and it can be tough trying to hook grip while cleaning or snatching. But, it was a great price and I got it delivered during a pandemic, so I can’t complain too much. Works great for lifts, but I haven’t dropped it much bc I’m scared of breaking it.

Great bar for the money. It is new to me, but it seems perfect for my home set-up. Deadlift and cleans were smooth and comfortable. Nice grips, and bearings spin freely.

Just tested this bar today, at first I was hesitant, when i first unpacked it the sleeves were shaky. I tried to tighten but they were still shaky. When I did my deadlifts I was surprised, the bar felt sturdy while lifting 360lbs. After I was done and removed the weights I saw that several metal shavings (from the silver coating) were falling from the sleeves. The last thing i want to do after working out is sweep up silver shavings off the floor. I would not recommend this to do snatches, overhead presses or bench presses because you may get shavings in your eye. If you need an extra bar for deadlifts and dont mind the shaving get this because the price is good and it is a sturdy bar. For everything else spend the extra cash and buy a quality bar. Also the description on amazon about the sleeves as "Smooth swiveling sleeves that prevent warping or deformation" the sleeves are not smooth you can clearly see grooves it the sleeves. *Update 09/26/18* I contacted the company and they're sending me a new bar free of charge, They're custom-or service is excellent they replied with in the same day. So the company itself I will give them 5 stars for customer service, once the new bar comes in I will update my review. *Update 09/29/18* So great news after a few days I received the new bar and i have to say what a great improvement. I did 4 sets 5 reps of 315lbs deadlifts and had no issues with the bar. After removing the plates there was no metal shavings left over which is great. For the price, quality and customer service I am upgrading my review to 5 stars.

Received it fast, but the package was trashed. The bar itself shows no defect, but it makes an insane amount of grinding noisy when rotating the sleeves, i mean, it's 100% deserving a return. I will keep it because i got it for a landmine, but there's no way i'd keep that for regular lifting. I can open it, clean it and oil it, but hey, it's brand new, it's not supposed to sound like it's 25 years old. So i got cheap bar for cheap and it's fine, but don't let the reviews convince you it's a good bar, it's not, but it does the job well if you don't receive it basically broken like mine. For a landmine bar, considering the price AND free shipping, i can't complain though.
