Awesome little collar for night walks
I love this light up collar for night walking, it really does keep your dog visible. One added bonus I like is that it also helps lightly illuminate the ground when you're in really dark spots to see what is around your dogs head. Some spots on our walk can be really dark and my little guy is constantly finding things to sniff along the way. This lights up a little around him so I can kind of see what he gets into when there is not much light around. My advice is when you first get this, give the clear piece at least 3-4 inches extra from what you were going to cut it at. Its always easier to trim more a little after the first cut than realizing it was cut too short. I cut mine longer on purpose since my dog is still growing, but its been nice having it big enough to slide over his head when going out the door. It fits pretty loose on his neck, but I keep a close eye on it.I've had this for a few months and the batteries finally started to die out, so I looked to see what replacement batteries it needed. I saw that it had two 1154 batteries and when I went to the store, I would look for the 1154 batteries. After checking 2 Targets, a Walmart, and a Home Depot, I was not having luck and was about to go to a Fry's since they have a bigger selection of batteries. Randomly I saw that I still had a pack of 357 size batteries at home and they looked really close to the same dimensions as the 1154 batteries, so I gave them a try. The 357 batteries fit perfectly and work just fine in the collar, so if you need new batteries, the 357 size will work and they are easily found at most stores.

Love this. A problem solver
My dog goes out in to my fenced in yard at night. Love this. I hung it on a command hook near my back door. It’s so helpful when he goes out at night. It’s bright. He’s a pretty large Labradoodle and I’m able to slip over his head before he goes out. It gives me peace of mind so I can locate him. I can see him in all corners of my fenced in approx acre. Good value.

I am an avid walker and walk every nite of the year. I have a 16lb min pin and a 44lb pit bassett mix. I have tried various lights to hook on to collars and different types of light up collars. They all work "ok" but this is a must have. It can be adjusted by cutting it to the size that you need. For my larger dog I trimmed it a bit and for the smaller dog, it will go around her neck twice. I bought a blue and a red. Every time I walk, someone comments and asks me where I got them. They can have a solid glow or a blinking option. I prefer the solid. The dogs can be seen from a good distance and they play in the tennis courts at night sometimes and also our back yard which is very dark and I can always see where they are. They are also great for safety when crossing streets. I will be buying more of these in the future. Happy to find something that finally works.

Yes, this is bright, reliable, good value, AND easy to use.
This is a simply designed and effective collar thst emits enough light that your dog will be seen even at dusk. I was surprised to see that it emits as much light as a cyalume and easily outshines more expensive LED bands I have bought. I have had this one for a couple of months and it doesn't appear to be getting dimmer, but when it does, battery replacement will be easy. I cut mine to easily slip on over my dogs head and over top her regular collar and, so far, she hasn't been able to lose it, even off leash and running in the bush. If she does shake it off it is bright enough that it will be easy to find. I will buy this collar again.

So safe and so cute!
I love the way this product works. I saw my neighbors dog wearing one of these colors and it was the only reason their dog did not get hit by a car. After hearing about my neighbor who was walking their dog almost got hit by a car, I immediately got one of these colors! We live in a very busy neighborhood so cars speed up and down our street no matter what time of day. I am so at ease walking my dog a night knowing we are easy to see by passing cars.

Very good quality
This collar is exactly what I needed for my dog. We often walk during the evening hours when it is dark. The collar is noticeable, durable and easy to use. I would definitely recommend.

I love these so much I bought multiples!
This is my 4th NiteIze LED Collar. My dog and I enjoy a variety of nighttime activities and these collars are very versatile. They make it easy it keep track of my dog while hiking or playing in the yard after dark. When my service dog goes to nighttime activities with me or activities in a dark space, the collar makes him more visible to alert people to his presence. When playing with multiple dogs at night, I color code them by giving each a different color collar, so it's easy to account for who is where. I like the green collar best for distance visibility, and the red collar works great for star gazes, concerts, and other events where you don't want to disrupt people's night vision.

Works great, don't clip it for long haired dogs
This is easy to cut to size. We have a long haired dog and made it a bit larger so you could see it round her fur (you can't see her collar normally). When you go for a walk you have to put it on then clip the leash to the collar higher on her neck than the light collar to keep it from coming off since it's larger. It still hides behind her fur a bit. I kind of wish I didn't think it at all now and would just use the leash trick to keep it full length if I had to do it again. We've been using it for almost a month in the cold about 8-12 miles a week and the battery is starting to die.

It works great
I read some reviews that said don't get this for long haired dogs but I decided to take a chance anyway. I did not cut it to her neck diameter but rather kept it full length and placed it back further to her shoulders and let her neck fur hold it in place. It works flawlessly and I can see her at long distances . She doesn't play aggressively and no other dogs around that could possibly bite or pull on the collar light. This is bright enough to glow thru her fur. It actually lights up the fur creating a larger lit surface. Rough Collies because of their small heads need a special collar that they can't slip their heads out of so this necklace design is perfect. Takes a few seconds to slip it over her head to the shoulders. Fast and easy plus I like the idea of replaceable batteries which are dirt cheap to buy. Is this water proof? I doubt it is 100% but the switch and battery holder if placed underneath the neck lowers the risk of getting wet. Even then the battery compartment could be dried out with a hairdryer etc. Unlike the rechargeable usb port design this is more trouble free. I might take a night pic of it on her but the pic posted shows how much fur she has and this works great and is very visible. I would buy another if this fails because I now can see her easily at night. Doesn't matter if she facing away from me I can see the light clearly. If it had been longer it could have been put around her waist or tummy area but that would require pulling it apart putting it on and off. That might cause premature wear on the tube contact to the base. The prices on lighted collars vary greatly. I can't use those standard light collar design on my dog because she has a collar made for her breed. A simple necklace design is far more practical and less money. I can still use her leash collar with the necklace light. Neither interferes with the other because they are at different areas on her neck line

Perfecto
Es una maravilla. Opte por la opción de pilas, porque estoy cansado re poner las cosas a cargar. Lo uso todos los días. Fácil de poner, muy robusto y lo puedes cortar a la medida que quieras.

A Simple, bright and reliable night light collar
The collar was easy to cut to size with kitchen scissors and the light works really well - very bright and even distribution around the collar. I think the red light stands out better than the more commonly seen blue/green lights especially in rain and fog. The collar is powered by battery (replaceable) but after 4 months of regular use there is no sign yet of any loss of power (wasnt keen for USB charging as had my doubts about how long a USB port could be maintained on a dog collar in all weather.) The collar has been put through rain, snow, mud, ponds and being generally around the neck of a boisterous young dog without any sign of problems. We had used various clip on lights, collar lights etc to keep an eye on our dog during night walks but most either stopped working with the punishment of our dog's activity or just didn't do the job as well as expected. This collar is has proved to be reliable, visible and hassle-free and I would say great value when compared to the price of some alternatives. Well worth consideration by dog owners looking to keep an eye on their dogs during night walks.

Perfect
The media could not be loaded. I have had many niteize products in the past, I haven't had one of these collars yet but I have had a lot of experience with the product and have had a couple wonderful customer service experiences with the company. They stand by their products. They went on sale for ridiculously cheap so I snatched one for my dog and one for my brother's dog.One arrived today and one will come later. So far so good. Legit niteize product, just as you'd buy in store. Two modes: Solid light and a blinking light, change by pressing the button as you'll see in the video.Cut to fit. I like to cut it so it can just go over my dog's head. I pop the tube out and hold it in place and pop it over her head and keep adjusting until I'm satsified that it can slip over her head but also not slip off easy and then I snip where I want and pop it back in.If you are not sure, you're better off doing it little by little. Better it be too long than you cut it too short right off the bat. The tube is hard to cut so use sharp sissors. It comes with batteries, and tells you on the back what kind it needs and how to replace them.Even at full price I'd recommend one of these. They are super bright, not expensive, easy to use, rain doesn't hurt them, and the company is great to deal with should anything go wrong.
