Bramley - that's all you need to know
I've had these while on trips to England, and they're one of my favorite things. Bramley apples are what makes these so good. A little bit of tang, without the cinnamon. They do take a very slight quality hit in the shipment from London to the US, but they are packed well and hold up well. They end up a little more crumbly than they typically are, but are still great quality. They took around 2 weeks to get here. These reviews that talk about the pies not looking like what's on the box - When has any company delivered what's in the product photo? It's one of those facts of life, and we all know there isn't a lot of truth in those advertising photos, especially when it comes to food. Don't rate the product on whether it syncs up to the box picture. Rate it on whether or not it's good quality and/or worth the price. You can't beat the price for these, shipped halfway across the world. I'll be buying them again.

Tastes Great, even though they arrive in crumbs
There's just no way you can ship these without the pie tops breaking and crust crumbling out the box when you open it. Carriers are just too abusive to packages. But, even though they aren't Instagramable when opened, they're amazingly delicious for a small apple pie. So much so, I don't care about their condition. They're all going in my mouth in bites or crumbs. Btw, I'm qualified to give a taste review based on my extensive experience eating pies and baked treats! I eat a lot of baked goods. I'm probably diabetic and just don't know it yet. So don't question my taste buds! Also, my mother owned a restaurant, is an amazing cook, and baker. Which reminds me. I'm about to call her up and ask her to make me a rhubarb pie! Then I'll order another box of these.

Decent crumbly apple goodness
Crumbly and greasy but good, overall. Gets beat up along the way. More a fan of other Kipling offerings.

Like some of the other buyers
Like some of the other buyers, my pies arrived damaged (despite careful packing by the shipper) and near the expiration date. Nevertheless, they were DELICIOUS and I would gladly buy again. The shipper did their part by attempting to pack with care, and eating them in pieces didn't detract from the flavor. They're different than their American counterparts as they're smaller (and therefore have fewer calories), and the crust is more delicate and flaky. There is a nice sprinkling of sugar on the top, which counterbalances the lack of sweetness in the filling (again, this is in comparison to commercial American mini pies).

As advertised
These pies are from England so expect some crust damage.
