Seems to work well, fits exactly like OEM. No noticeable difference from stock when it was new. Might update if something changes but seems to be pretty solid starter. Did come with new wire mounting hardware which comes in handy

This starter is for my 2017 Honda Rancher ATV. The old one sounded like an air-locked horse, it whined so loud. The seller described this well enough so a non-mechanic like me could be sure I was getting the right part. This bolted right in and sounds quiet like the old one did when the ATV was new. Thanks!

Great aftermarket starter for TRX420FM
Fit my bike 2008 Honda 420FM perfect. Remove the air box and it’s right there easy to get at. Tip if not sure what problem is run a test light to the cable on the starter. If it lights up when you hit the switch to start it you have a bad starter. Honda wants almost $500 for a new one. This one is a fraction of that and works great

I installed this starter and it fit perfectly on my 2006 Honda 420 rancher the old starter the magnets let go and seized it up solid and this one works perfectly

OEM fit and Function
This worked out exceptionally well as it does what it should! Before install make sure you adjust the cable connector bloc to the proper alignment prior to install, or you will be removing it to adjust it! Great starter, and thank you for the expedited delivery service!
