Not up to 330 pounds but still GREAT!
I love this rower! It has a smooth row and feels very solid. I'm rowing every day for 20 minutes as part of my new home routine and feel great.I worked out at Orange Theory for 3 years and this is not like their Cadillac rower, but this Chevy still gets you there! The assembly directions are for an entirety different product so completely useless and with no photos of the assembled product I was flying blind. I provided a few photos here, so you should be all good to row. There are two tension straps that act as the pulley system. Mine were messed up so taking the time to carefully rewrap them without tangling took the most time. Hint: the heavier strap is on top. Otherwise just a few bolts.Oh....on the product description it says up to 330 pounds, but the directions say up to 300 pounds, just like all the other rowers of this type.

Update
I have been searching for a rower for months... the concept rower was at the top of my list but their most affordable model is always out of stock online. I considered purchasing a name brand water rower for $1500+ but came across this product on amazon. I’m so glad I decided to purchase it. My husband assembled it in about 1 hour. I helped with the cables. We had to completely detangle/undo them and put them back on the track. That was the most tedious part. I love my new rower and my husband now includes rowing in his workouts. I would highly recommend it for the price. Very decent quality!!Update: 09/2020The blade inside broke = (I’m so disappointed.

Amazing value, shoddy packaging, assembly, and directions. Still 4 stars!
4 stars, despite the awful packaging, assembly and directions. That should tell you how good a value it is. As all the other reviewers have pointed out, directions are incomprehensible. You will likely have to unwind and rewind the pulley system of which there are literally no directions. Its relatively simple though and you may have to try a few times before you get it. See my picture, and note that the top and bottom pulley that spin that water wheel (which are 1 unit) are wound in different directions. When looked at from above, the top goes out to the handle on the left side of the pulley, and the bottom goes out to the tension cable on the right side of the pulley. I recommend winding the top to the handle first all the way until the handle reaches its holding bracket. With the bottom cable fully stretched out wind it around pulley near the seat attach it to the bracket near the feet. All the pulley should be used with the least deflection of the cable. If it causes the cable to go off at an extreme direction or if the cable doesn't touch the pulley at all then you have it going in the wrong direction at some point.I wouldn't buy this if you have no mechanical aptitude or friends/family that are able and willing to help.

Instructions on how to use
I purchased the Water Rowing Machine. In the box, it did not have any instructions on assembly or how to use. I finally got it together by trial and error but still have no instructions on how to use. For the money that I paid, I feel like there should be instructions on settings and how to use. I would not recommend this purchase without instructions.

It'll probably be great, but I won't know for a while....
Everything other reviewers noted is true: directions are abysmal, the machine itself is sturdy and will probably work great. I say "probably" because as I sat down for my first rowing session, the bungee cord snapped in two. Although I know I'll like this rower, I gave it a two-star review because not having the bungee cord is a dealbreaker for this machine. Also, another reason for the two-star review is that there's no customer service number or address in the box or in the instruction manual (I use that term loosely). So I kept the box with the return address on it: Kamas Far Inc, (bosonshop.com) in Canada sells this. I called the number they gave and a real estate office answered. No number for bosonshop.com. So basically, you're on your own. Luckily, bungee cords with carabiner clips are pretty easy to find.UPDATE: I ended up buying a rubber strap that works, but I noticed it's stretching out a tiny bit. Not great. I contacted the seller four times and so far no response. Wish I'd done a little more research on dporticus (the seller).ANOTHER UPDATE: I want to be fair; so I wanted to update that dporticus finally answered and is shipping another bungee cord to me.

Great Rower!
I'm not sure why everyone had so much trouble putting theirs together. It was super duper easy and intuitive. It's a great machine.

Awful instructions, some cursing, but it works
I didn’t find the instructions terribly difficult as many previous reviews stated. However, one of the holes doesn’t align at all and I’m unable to get the screw in. We shall see if this causes the whole thing to disassemble with use.Update: I had to hammer the final screw in. Due to there not being instructions on how to attach the bungee cord, I “winged” it and the entire pulley system came undone. After removing all pulleys, I was able to wrap it again and the machine is working. I’m 5’9 and it just “fits” - I’ll have my taller kiddo try it out and see how it works for him.
