Sze Hing Loong - Salt & Lemon Candy 150g

I fell in love with a similar product on my most recent trip to Japan. I was sad when I couldn’t find it at my local Asian market. I found these and they are SO close to what I remember! I am addicted. They are pretty salty, so if you don’t like salt this isn’t for you. But if you are worried about them tasting like lemon salt or twang, they do not! The lemon is like a lemon drop and a the salt is like you sprinkled it on top. So good!

This lemon candy hit all the marks I was looking for. As a kid, I would eat fresh lemon liberally sprinkled with salt. This delightful hard candy adds an element of sweetness. On first taste, there is the unmistakeable flavor of salt quickly followed by the tang of lemon and then a delicate sweetness. The combination of all three flavors is a winner. If you like to salt your fruit, you will enjoy this unique candy.

Delicious! It is very pricey though.

I love the sweet and salty lemon flavor of this candy. It helps when I’m hungry.

Ok, my expectations for this product were a little all over the place but two things to note that I had not seen in other reviews are 1.) These not only start off salty but are salty throughout from start to finish. 2.) They are indeed individually wrapped. If you are a person who already liked eating lemon with salt or grew up on that as I did you will probably like these. If you are a first timer I would suggest you try some sliced lemon with salt to prepare m yourself for what is in store. Overall I am pleased with these and I do like them, my throat as I have been sick with an awful cough will benefit but I can't see just casually for no other reason than taste to snack on these as I would a sweet candy. Hope this helps!!!

I love salt. I am more than a fan I am an admitted salt-aholic. Before I found this candy I used to buy chips just to like the salt off them <no judging> but now I just pop one of the candy's and I am good to go! Awesome candy!!

They do not allow returns even if damaged so beware, you will be stuck with item. My bag came open and I today’s day and age do t feel comfortable eating candy…..

I had been looking for pineapple salt candy and this was all I could find. The flavor is really good.
