If yours is dripping check here!
So I’ve worked in a few labs and had to use Pipettes to draw samples. I found this from 1-10mm and thought it would streamline my nutrient process for gardening. It did, but it took me a little work to get there. When I first took it out of the package I filled a glass with tap water and began testing it. It dropped everywhere. I got upset and arranged an exchange. After I got off the phone I started playing with it and the accessories.First thing I did was take the cover off the end. It twisted off. Then there was a black housing for the piston. It turns a couple degrees then pulls straight off. There is a rubber plunger in there with silicone grease on it. I smeared the grease around better reassembled and viola! It worked!!Now I went to my garden and grabbed a graduated cylinder with 1ml markings. I ran through testing it at 10, 5, 3, and 2 ml (my common nutrient doses) and the meniscus sat right on the Correlating line. Not bad, I was happy and I cancelled my return. I packed it all up and put it away. Later on in the evening I was going to mix nutes and I thought it was a great opportunity to break it in. Well, wouldn’t you know it started dripping again. I switched over to my disposable pipettes and when I got done I started trouble shooting.I got the instructions out and read through them thoroughly. I payed particular attention to forward and reverse pipe tying instructions. I followed them step by step and drew 20-30 samples in a row with no drips. All in all I’d say it’s a great little device, accurate enough for my needs. I think it’s a little finicky, but that could also be operator failure. YMMV, but I think in the long run it’ll work just fine.

Great! measure plant nutrients 🌱🧪
I use this to quickly add precise amount of nutrients to water before feeding my plants.I was using typical pull syringes and that’s fine for clear or very light colored nutrients, but with some nutrients the liquid is very dark and hides markings on the syringe making it tedious and annoying to see quickly how much I’m pulling/administering.With this I just set it for the desired amount and bing bang boom I’m loading and distributing quickly and precisely. Makes watering a breeze.Tip: if you should choose to adopt this tool for said chosen purpose I would offer a tip: you only need one pipetter but many tips to avoid cross contamination, obviously.I reuse the tips, keeping them in labeled designated test tubes in a rack - you can easily stick the pipetter into the top of the tube to grab the tip and after using it pop it off directly back into the test tube. Ill add a pic later if I remember.Accuracy - ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I didn’t test it down to the micromil but to the mil it’s dead on, so for my purposes it gets a strong 5 stars for accuracy.Tools make life easier. That’s their purpose. This tool serves it’s purpose handsomely.

You get what you pay for
Pros- Easy to take apart and put back together -Lightweight -InexpensiveCons-Calibration nut does nothing to change quantity -The actual quantity of liquid drawn is highly inaccurate. It reads 1000uL(1mL) too high. Yes I said one entire mL too high. I set to 2.0 (2000uL) or 2mL. I used a standard 5mL pipette tip and drew water. What did I see? The water was to the 3mL mark. I set it 3.0(3000uL) or 3mL. I drew water. The water was to the 4mL mark. I repeated with a setting of 1.0 with the same result. The lowest setting it will go is .25, which ended up being 1.25 mL. This means that this pipette actually draws 1.25mL to 6.25mL instead of the stated 1-5 mL. -It also dripped to start. I did what other have done and took it apart to spread around the grease on the o-ring. It did help greatly.Conclusion- For hobby use it is ok but if precision is needed then stay away. Pay the higher price for higher quanlity.

Great for lab and easy to use
Great pipette for lab and compounding pharmacy. Very easy to change the tip and simple to use. We use it almost everyday and the quality of the pipette is great and long lasting.

What’s not to like?
Adjustable, simple, reliable…. It’s made my projects MUCH easier.

Not for lab use
Pipetted volume is not consistent for preparation of laboratory standards. Have to keep an eye on the tips to ensure the volume always come to the same place. The pipette tips required is too wide for regular 250ml regular mouth bottles. Cannot reach below 2/3 of bottles depth.

Only worked 2 weeks ...
The pipette worked well but after barely 2 weeks, it didn't draw any water, not 1 ml, not 2 or 5. I used the pipette twice a day to add 10 ml of distilled water to a mouth rinse solution. It seems that the diaphragm no longer works. Wasted money... wasted $17 plus shipping...Per Amazon, the item is not returnable. It is sold by Vitality Medical in Salt Lake City.

Se ve muy generica
La caja es muy genérica y no creo que sea de la marca que menciona. Aunque mínimo si viene calibrada y aparentemente funciona bien. Por el precio considero que te saca de un apuro.
