Absolutely great pad for the price, even better than I expected. Has an overall layer of about 1/2” of bouncy, shock absorbing foam throughout the pad plus two additional layers that can shim your saddle for adjustable fit. Soft and flexible foam that seems to absorb shock without compressing. Very well designed. My horse moves more freely then I have seen in quite a while. I bought size L for a 17.5” saddle and it was the correct size.

First of all, this half-pad is absolutely beautifully made. Comparable to many of the much higher price-point half-pads with shims. Something for consideration perhaps - shipping took a while. It did arrive on the very last day of the time period provided at check-out, but for something I really needed, it was a long (almost 3 weeks) wait. Worth the wait in the end though? YES. I ordered the large for my 17.5" dressage saddle, turned out to be a smidge on the big side, but works.

My daughter ordered this and was overall happy with the quality but it did come with a few oil-like stains on it which was disappointing.

This looked like something I could use, I almost bought a medium thinking my saddle is not large nor is it small…But, I waited to measure my saddle. Decided 48 cm was the correct choice…48 cm should equal 19 inches…the large was almost 22 inches (way to big)I then thought, 5 cm shorter would be good, so I bought a small…the small was way to small (starting to feel like a story of porridge being too hot then too cold)I then bought a medium…and yet, I think this one will work.Picture is with all 3 pads next to an American measuring tape.The quality appears to be what I was looking for, I have 4 horses and 2 saddles for showing. I am very happy with the purchase, even with all the returns.

Love this half pad. I bought it to tweak how my saddle fit my mate and it provided a perfect amount of support for her withers. Shipping was fast as well. Thanks!

This pad is beautiful quality. Well made with dense, soft, lambskin. Ordered large and it fit the length of my 18" saddle with rear gussets. So why 3 stars? I have a Custom fit dressage saddle. I have used several other halfpads from various brands and they all sit nicely under my saddle without movement or shipping. This pad is VERY CURVY. The whither area is a huge hump built for those spiky, dont you dare ride me bareback, kinda horses. Because it wouldn't settle into place on my mares back it shifted out the back of my saddle after each use. It's not a saddle fit issue it's a curvy pad issue. Wish I could have kept but just not the right shape for my mare.

Ich würde mir wünschen das am Rist etwas mehr Höhe eingeplant wäre unddie Nähte für die Einfassung am Rist noch viel flacher wären. Ansonsten gut, nicht für hohe Riste. Noch nicht gewaschen, so kann ich das noch nicht bewerten

Prodotto esattamente come da foto e descrizione. Ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo. Comodo perchè si possono inserire gli spessori a piacimento, la parte anteriore e quella posteriore sono divise e rende il prodotto decisamente personalizzabile. Oltre ai 4 spessori già inseriti ne arrivano 2 in più. Anche senza spessori il cuscinetto ha comunque una buona altezza. Consigliato.

I have a young horse. His transitions are a little bumpy. He's not muscled up yet across his back so I was looking for a pad to act as shock absorption while he matures and grows. This pad is excellent. It can be used with no shims, one set of shims or two. I have tried it with one set of shims and both he and i are very comfortable. It has given him confidence. Highly recommend this product. Very good value delivered foc with prime at €61. I am going showing so I bought a medium pad as large would be too big and bulky. I have a 17 inch saddle and the medium sticks out about 1 inch behind the saddle so a large size must be massive. Delighted with the product. Not my first le mieux product. Great brand. Super product.

Prima Pad, passt sehr gut unter Stübben 17.5 Zoll Sättel (Dressur und Springen), rutscht nicht, trotz der Dicke von 1cm hat es bei mir die Sättel nicht zu eng gemacht. Pferde ( 4 verschiedene) liefen alle sehr losgelassen damit. Aus meiner Sicht insbesondere bei jungen Pferden geeignet die sich muskulär schnell stark verändern, aber auch beim Reiten über höhere Sprünge ein anscheinend angenehmer "Stoßdämpfer" im Rücken.

.... die Befestigungen für den Sattel sind viel zu lang. Muss man zum Schuster bringen und kürzen lassen. Ich hatte schon eine Schabracke, die nahm ich als Muster mit. Da sein die Befestigungen auch schon gekürzt sagte dieser mir. Das war eine Schabracke ab Werk, also hat man das da auch schon erkannt, aber eben nicht nachhaltig gelöst. Alle Strippen dieser Marke sind zu lang scheint es. Denn ich habe noch so ein Lammfell bestellt, auch da sind sie zu lang. Da die Qualität aber einfach spitze ist, nehme ich das in Kauf. LeMieux sollten das ändern. Andere Kunden berichten das nämlich auch.
