SMOOOOOOTH
I an a professional. Not a wood floor professional, but a custom cabinet builder. I know wood, and ways to make it look good. My wife asked that I refurbish a table that her uncle made years ago. Considering his lack of technical knowledge, he did a pretty good job however, it got wet and swelled and subsequently cracked between each edge glued piece of fir when it dried. This filler was buttery smooth, easy to work with, stayed workable and moist long enough to take care of business without having to deal with crunchies of dried or hardened filler prior to being done. Effortless sanding (similar to a limestone filler) as well as stayed put for the most part with regards to stability during sanding. I love this stuff.

Great water clean up, nice color choices
I had my floor refinisher use this, I loved the water clean up and the color options were perfect. Yes it smells weird while using but once dry no smell. Easy to work with, nice to water down for some applications.

Works great, but not exactly fast drying time
Great product, easy to use and easy to spread. The guide states that it dries in 15 minutes. I used it directly out of the tub without adding any water. It actually took over 6 hours to dry in 70 degree indoor temperatures with a fan on it. I did, however, do a very thick application (about 3/4 of an inch )) to fill a hole. I waited 6 hours and it still wasn't dry enough to sand, but overnight it cured and I was able to sand the next day. Still a great product, but DEFINITELY does not cure in 15 minutes. It may dry much faster as a thin grain filler, but if used as a wood filler expect to wait overnight for a full dry. Still a wonderful product

Why does it smell so bad?
I used it once on a project and it smelled amazing, it smelled like cologne. I put the cap on and put the bucket away for another project. Took it out for the second project and it smelled soo terrible. I tried to use it on the second project thinking once it dries the smell will go away. The smell stayed and I had to sand the project back down and get all the filler out because the smell just wouldn’t go away. I threw the whole bucket away. Can somebody tell me why it smells so terrible and what can I do to preserve it after the first use?

Wood filler
I was in search of a different brand of wood filler when I came across goodfilla . This wood filler is the best compared to several other brands I’ve been using for years. What I like about goodfilla is doesn’t dry out after opening and using it multiple times. The goodfilla applies very well to painted and unpainted wood surfaces. For indoor or outdoor use. Very easy to clean up after use. Another benefit of using goodfilla as a wood filler , it does not crack after dried.

Stinks
I bought this to skim coat a table to fill some of the deep grain on the oak. It went on pretty good and sanding went well. Problem was when I went to put on the second coat I blew it off with my leaf blower and it literally blew half the material off. It just flaked off like it had an adhesion issue. I sanded the surface with a plam sander prior to applying this. Also, the material smelled like manure when you sanded it 🤮

Soap smell is overpowering
This works as well as my usual water based filler but is a little cheaper. Hence I thought I would try it. I found it a little soft ( less viscous ) than my usual one hence it was difficult to fill on vertical surfaces, so I let it dry out a little after stirring it well. The main issue is the smell, I know why it is there ( an antimicrobial) but the 'soap/perfume' smell is too strong. I had to stop using it. It does disappear once hard but until then it filled the whole garage AND house.

Black color works well: manage your sanding dust!
I found this to be a high-quality product that flows more easily than drywall paste. It has the consistency of something like toothpaste or room-temperature caramel. I applied most of it with my fingers with a rubber glove and troweled it out. I used it to smooth out some rough plywood I made into shelves. A single coat did well. When you sand this, it will create vast clouds of (black) drywall-like dust. I looked like a coal miner. I was lucky to be outside, and my wife and neighbors didn't see what was happening. It sands very easily and paints very well. I would use it again. The quart was enough to cover about 25 ft.² of pretty rough plywood and make it smooth enough for painted bookshelves.

Husbands review
I order this for my husband to repair our one room that still had hardwood flooring. Small room. Worn out floors with cracks and pieces of wood missing. My husbands review of the product is “ it’s good. It worked. It dried fast and I’ve got it stained. Make sure you seal the container with tape after you’re done. Once it dries, re wetting is only going to make it chunky “Now wife review is : the smell is atrocious. The entire house stinks, days later. The dust is everywhere even though we took extra precautions. And I ended up having to order 2 of the quart tubs as the cracks were a lot worse than we thought. So $80 was kind of steep but worth it in the end as it was quick and looks good!

Seller says its non shrinking, it shrinks. Good though
Thwy say its non shrink but oh boy foes it shrink. If your using this product outdoors make sure it is dry and painted before any rain. If it gets wet even when cured it falls appart and crumbles away. Otherwise its good stuff, you have to get the hang of using it.
