Great for great material

Grey 1909s - purchased in May 2023Good comfortable shorts. They fit well. though perhaps not as stretchy as I had anticipated. Nonetheless the material has sufficient give for most yoga stretches, which is the reason I bought them.Interesting that these grey 1909s are featured in the same range as the 1908s, but they are a very different cut (see my review of the black 1908, below). The grey 1909 are longer in the leg, my size S coming just below the knee (I'm 5'7" or 8"), and little larger in the waist (I'm 32"), although being elasticated this doesn't make much difference.Black 1908s - purchased in July 2023.There is conflicting information on the website. These are cotton/elastane mix, as stated alongside the image. If you scroll down on the same page to the Yawho store it states the 1909s are polyester/elastane mix, which is wrong, and 30% elastane, which is unlikely. These black 1908s are definitely high cotton content. They are a tighter fit on the waist than the 1909s but S is still suitable for a 32" waist. They are also cut wider but shorter in the leg than the 1909s: my S size finish just above the knee. Because of the greater stretch in the material, the 1908s are my preferred choice for yoga.I'm very happy with both pairs of shorts. I'm pointing out the differences as it may be helpful to others in making a choice.

These are fine for most leisure pursuits. They are quite long in the leg (but lightweight material so it doesn’t impede exercise).

He liked the style, fit, feel of the material and the fact the pockets. He started using them to go out to play football or to go to the gym. Then he began to wear them at home over the summer. They became his favourite clothing item, as most comfortable. I had to buy a second pair, just in case. A great purchase at a very good price

Disappointed first time I went running in them. They're light and fit well but the pockets sit on the front of your thigh which means anything you try to carry gets kicked out of them while running. I always run with my phone in my pocket, in other shorts the pocket hangs down the side of my legs but 10m in these and I had to turn around to pick up my now scratched phone off the ground. They do have zips so you can keep things in the pocket but they bounce off your thigh every step getting uncomfortable over long distances, I use them only for working out in one place now.

Ordered these in black, size large, for my partner. Quick delivery and a great pair of shorts. They are thin and lightweight, but not see through. They have decent sized zipped pockets. No trouble fitting an IPhone 8 Plus in them. Large is a perfect fit and there is plenty of room in the width of the legs so there is no restriction of movement. Will be ordering a couple more in different colours.

Bought these for my son for running. He loves them and worn them a lot already. Has everything you need with great pockets with a zip. This in its self is a winner for running. Comfy and look great. Will be getting another pair in a different colour. Great value too so very happy customer.

These shorts are a good fit and excellent material for working out.The downside is the zipped pockets.I specifically bought these for having 2 zipped pockets but one zip doesn't run smooth, and the lines for both pockets are very thin material and I do wonder how long they will last with keys and phone in them. Hence only 4 stars
