This whistle works great. I use it to call my kids in from the park. It is a little on the loud side, but it is effective.

I use this for recess duty and have used in the gym for indoor recess. It’s the perfect whistle because it’s loud and works nicely for short drills doing a single whistle. I have browned it at max loudness on recess duty when there was an incident and it got all the kids attention immediately. Good for a safety situation or just to notify that recess is over. The cork ball is really nice and the plastic is nice. I like the small lip part if I need to rest it in my mouth for drills. I didn’t get the one that has the white plastic lip. I purchased the full black one. It looks professional and doesn’t clang on my lanyard. Highly recommend for teachers and coaches.

I've purchased the metal whistles in the past - but they are not as loud, and in time they rust. I use these whistles for my dogs for recall training - so I need something that is quite loud and with a distinctive, sharp sound. These are ideal for this use! Excellent!
