I get compliments often. I wear it with dressy casual or dressy attire.It is a bit larger than the standard Movado. So, if that is not your thing, then choose a different watch.

...but, this watch surprised me. The bold series have usually been more boxy, with large crowns designed to be more trendy with the classic series being...well more classic and timeless. With that said, this watch is thin with rounded case and small crown. it could have easily been in the classic series if the sun was replaced with the classic series concaved sun instead of the machined sun. Others have mentioned the watch is big and it is. I hesitated buying it because my wrist only measures 6.5" around, so on paper, this watch is too big. Being thin, it sits nicely and doesn't look as big as my higher profile watches, even with smaller case diameters. Still, you have to like a bigger watch.There's zero issues with this watch fitting under a dress shirt cuff. It fits quite nicely and looks very dressy with a dress shirt and sporty worn otherwise. Vey versatile and comfortable. The bracelet is super comfortable, and more comfortable than any of my other watches with metal or bracelet bands. At first, I was a little stumped by the links when I tried to adjust and ended up taking it to a jeweler. Once I saw the links removed, there was nothing terribly unusual about them. There's a sleeve that runs between the links to remove any play, but you take out the links the same way as any other. The pins are definitely tighter than I've seen on most though. I ended up having to resize again after the jeweler took out too few. Had no problems adjusting on my own. Great watch with very slick look. The contrast between the hands and dial are surprisingly high. Absolutely no issues seeing the dial in direct sunlight or in dark. The polished hands against the mat face are very easy to read.

If you collect watches for their quality, heritage, and engineering excellence... this isn't for you.If you don't mind having a watch in your collection for its fashion and only for its fashion, then this watch is a perfect choice.It looks modern and minimalistic, making it a very good add to many an outfit.My only advice would be, make sure you have some small screwdrivers on hand to adjust the clasp. If I didn't have one available I would have been very frustrated with the watch. The adjustment can't be made without one. Though, once you start adjusting the clasp you can get a perfect fit; unlike, with a traditional leather band.The watch now sits perfectly snug, not too tight, and not too loose, just before the end of the radius and ulna.Don't ever let a watch touch your hand you heathen.

Excellent watch. Looks great all the way around, offers a comfortable fit and screams of quality. You will get a compliment on this watch everytime you wear it. It seems well made and has a nice weight to it but it’s not too heavy. The double-clasp is nice and smooth and the band feels great on the wrist.This watch looks more like a $1500 watch than a $500 watch. More important than how expensive it looks is the fact that it just looks great - especially with a nice white dress shirt.I wouldn’t hesistate to buy it again, if maintained well and not overly-used, it should last a lifetime. I wear it a few times a month and rebox it when not in use. Also, notice that the watch contrasts nicely depending on the angle, light, and type of light. Sometimes is has silverish hands and trim, other times charcoal. It’s nice to look at and has a large authoritative size, but without appearing as an overly-big, flashy watch like some others.Excellent overall. Buy with confidence. Excellent value for the price.
