I was a bit dubious first putting this jacket on, at how the almost fleece like material could possibly be waterproof, but it is. I live in the North Pennines, where its almost always raining, and proper rain too, and this jacket has held up to the worst of it. I’ve been perfectly warm feeding sheep on the top of the moors in a -10° snow storm, and dry in torrential rain and howling winds. The jacket is comfortable, practical with loads of pockets, and a nice wide brimmed detachable hood that keeps the drips off your face.After 18 months of wearing it, some teeth on the zip went. I emailed Ridgeline not expecting much (previous big brands like Harkila and Meindl have not been interested when I’ve raised concerns with them) but not Ridgeline, after sending a copy of my Amazon receipt to them last week, I came home today to find a brand new jacket had been delivered without even asking for one. Can’t fault the product, and definitely can’t fault their customer service. Knowing a company is keen to resolve customer issues is always going to get my custom. If you’re thinking about this jacket for cold, wet and windy weather, get it.

Great value definitely worth the money and it works well in the great British weather and the size fitted me well

I ordered an XL jacket which was too large for me and I immediately ordered a Large. The jacket was received by New Forest Clothing on a Friday and they sent me a replacement which arrived the following Monday.The jacket is fantastic but I have to give New Forest Clothing 10 out of 10 for their outstanding service. I will definitely use NFC again and I recommend them for their quality service and products.

The jacket arrived a day earlier than expected. The big test will be when I go beating again, but so far it looks great value for a great quality all round jacket. Lightweight, warm, breathable and waterproof.
