replacement for my firewood cart, nice!
I insisted on these flat free with no air. Nothing is worse than a flat tire and they always go flat. I don't have time to mess with filling tires, replacing tubes and tires. I want things ready to go 24/7/365. I have solid wheel barrow tires and even solid on my yard cart. I foam filled the tires on some implements that don't go on the road for the same reason. I bought a firewood cart around 1990 to deliver wood for extra cash in college. It hauled 25-30,000 pounds of wood per year up and down flights stairs and now 100 yards on a gravel driveway and down a few stone stairs at my house, still the same amount of wood per year. That's over half a million pounds. 23 years and finally the wheel spokes are cracking but still working. Never had a flat and couldn't be happier with the performance. These are almost an exact duplicate but of even better quality with slightly wider tires and real bearings. I'm ready for the next 23 years.

Great product - Even better Customer Service!!!
Purchased these wheels to replace tube tires on my Liberty hose cart. The cart got numerous flats, so I filled with Fix-a-flat and that lasted a couple season until the tire rubber degraded from UV exposure and just fell apart. These Marathon tires are solid polyurthane, so obviously won't ever go flat and should be impervious to the sun's rays.I ordered these with the assumption that they came with the second set of 5/8 inch bearings as that is what my cart axle is. When they arrived, only one wheel had extra bearings zip-tied to a spoke. The label on the wheel clearly says that the wheels come with 3/4 bearings installed and spare set of 5/8. I called Marathon Industries (phone number on their website) and my call was answered on the third ring by - get this - a real person! The woman apologized for my trouble and promised to get a set into the mail that day. There was no issue that I bought through Amazon instead of direct from them. The bearings - a complete set of four - arrived in two days. My hose cart is back in action, and these wheels are super smooth and easy to push.

Good, 20" flat-free tires to upgrade my Rubbermaid wheelbarrow
I purchased two of these tires to retrofit my wheelbarrow which was equipped with tube tires. These went on very easy and the wheelbarrow works fine. My only concerns is that one of the tires popped off the rim while moving a heavy load of dirt. The tire was easy enough to slip back onto the rim after I unloaded the dirt, but just be cognizant that these tires only want to go in a straight line with heavy loads. The best part is that I never have to worry about fixing a flat tire again, so I'm happy with this purchase.

New life for my old Rubbermaid cart
So pleased to have these flat free tires on my old Rubbermaid Dump Truck cart. They fit perfectly although mounting was more of a hassle than I expected. My big cart is at least 15 years old and still a workhorse on the farm, but its pneumatic tires needed regular pumping and the outer tire shells were showing serious dry rot. It was stored out in the elements all the time, but it weathered everything. No better cart for stall cleaning as well as many other uses. Anyway, a helpful family member used the cart when a tire was flat and didn't notice the inner tube actually leaking out of the shell a bit, which apparently damaged the tube. I got the tube back in place but it wouldn't re-inflate so I went looking for another solution. Since the tire shell was not in good shape, getting a new tube didn't seem a long term solution so I went for this tire instead. This tire is the perfect size and comes with one set of bearings installed (which turned out to be too big) but also had a set of 5/8" bearings included with simple directions on how to switch them. Those were the ones I needed for my cart and once in place the tire fits perfectly. The problem I had installing it was that the bolt that holds the tire on was long frozen in place and turning it turned the axle rather than the bolt. Some WD40 was applied, but I still had to turn the cart over and hold the bolt from one tire while attempting to loosen the bolt on the other (and later retighten it). This was logistically challenging for my short, old self, but I was able to manage it and got the new tire on securely. I'm so pleased with it, I've now bought another for the other side even though the original tire was still okay. All that re-inflating was getting tiresome and now I won't have to again. These tires are heavier than the original pneumatic tires which is worth noting if you dump the cart often, but not having to re-inflate them is worth it to me.

Good choice for Rubermaid carts
I think these will work for me. This is what Rubermaid should have put on in the first place as their pneumatic tires are a joke. I am so used to using this cart w/o air that I thought these solids are an improvement as far as ease of rolling is concerned. Mine came with the extra set of bearings. I had a 'Duh' moment when I tried to remove the 3/4" bearings. I tried to punch out the bearings by tapping on them, but what is required is to put the punch into the hub and punch out the opposite bearing. I know, I know. I also had some rust on the axles and the wheel would not go on. I recommend using abrasive tape in a course grit. It's cheap and you will use it for a bunch of things in the future. Find it in the plumbing section of the hardware store. The only 'help' I had was a black widow who woke up when I started taking off a wheel. Really a friendly girl and was moving slow, but steady. I hate things that are black on black.

good solid wheels
I used these cart wheels for a kayak trailer I built. the kayak is only about 40 pounds so with a weight rating of #250 each, I'm not taxing them in any way.The solid tires eliminate my concerns of a "flat" tire and at 20" in diameter, they roll easily over most bumps and pot-holes I've encountered. The 3/4" bearings (pre-installed) fit beautifully over 1/2" EMT conduit I used as an axle. They also come with 5/8" bearings if you need a smaller size. These wheels, with bearings have a very low rolling resistance and will make it easier to move anything they are mounted on.I've worked with the carts these wheels were made as replacements for. These are so much more versatile. If you need a wheel about this size, you would do well to work these into your plans.
