God the Father and the Best Day Ever

My kids love this book. Author did an amazing job. Illustrated well.

A simple and sweet rhyming story of Easter and God’s love. The illustrations are beautiful and whimsical, the poetry is lovely to read aloud. I’m excited to read this to my daughter!

I enjoyed the simple yet important message of this book. The story and the pictures are engaging. This is a great book to own so that children will know our Lord and how much He loves us.

This book details the fall of man and the man’s salvation through Jesus in a way kids can understand. What happened to all those holy souls who died before Jesus came? This book explains how they were barred from heaven but now can enter thanks to Jesus. Beautiful illustrations emphasize God as the Creator.

I just finished reading this book to my 3 year old for the first time. “I love that God. Is that like our God is momma?” Yes my sweet boy, it is. The pages are beautifully illustrated and the words lend themselves to easy reading and easy listening, yet strum the strings That reside in the very depths of our hearts. This is a treasured book to snuggle up and whisper sweetness to little ones time and time again!

My six-year-old enjoyed this book so much, that I purchased another book as a gift for his Kindergarten classroom! It can sometimes be difficult to find children's books that communicate the hope and joy of heaven in a way that children can relate to, but this book hits the mark, and the author and illustrator really express "God the Father" as a generous, feeling, loving, approachable God. This is one of those books that will make you want to cry (in a good way!) when you read it to your child, grandchild, or classroom. A perfect addition to any Easter basket, or for any occassion!

I read this book to my 3rd Grade class and they absolutely loved it! It was a great book to read in preparation for Easter and gave the kids a different perspective to think about. My students loved that it rhymed and the artwork was different from most books we've read about God so they were all very interested in looking closely at the pictures as we read.
