Great little thermometer. Just got it so have only used it once to test oven heat, worked perfectly. It is very light weight and easy to handle, hot, with a chef's towel.

I am using this for powder coating and it works great. Tested accuracy with an IR heat gun and it is spot on.

This exposed the thermostat on my oven was letting the oven get too cold!Seems reasonably durable.Pretty basic design, It's kind of nice that it's easy to use and hangs on the rack instead of having to sit up right.I don't really have a great way to check the accuracy of this so I have to trust that it reads the correct temperature but it exposed the 15* - 20*f lower than set temperature in my oven and that I have to preheat longer than when the timer dings.

Works perfectly. Excellent replace for the old, unreadable predecessor.

Hung this bad boy on the front of the rack in our RV oven. We can read it through the glass! It helps us maintain temperature since the oven temp indicators on the dial are off about 25 degrees. This mechanical thermometer is better than a digital option since it never needs batteries.
