Sturdy, safe and easy to clean!
I had no issues putting this high chair together. I purchased it because I was sick of needing to constantly wash the cloth cover on our old high chair and wanted something that would grow with our 1 year old. She is very petite and I have no fears of her slipping through anything (unlike some of the reviews I read). The adjustability of the seat should make it great for any size baby or toddler while the tray is still attached and I am looking forward to her being able to continue using it when she's ready to sit at the table. The only complaint I have is the that buckle is a little bit of a pain, you have to hold all the straps when you're putting the baby in, I have a system now, but it was a little annoying at first. Although, they are bolted on, not "stapled" as another reviewer claimed.I did get the natural wood, so I have nothing to say about the finish chipping off.Definitely happy with this purchase!Update - in case anyone else is having issues with the plastic tray cover, I thought it was supposed to clip around the edge and struggled to get the one side to stay clipped all the time, there are actually little grooves that they clip into, so it has to be in the right place to clip. But once it's there, it's sturdy and my baby can't pull it off!

Beautiful
Beautiful is the word best for the description of this high chair that I purchased as a gift for my grandchildren who have a few unique qualities that need special attention and consideration. Very sturdy and easy to carry around if needed. Building it was also very easy, especially because I was able to watch my oldest grandson build it for me

I like the chair, but.......
My grandson is 6 mos. old and just sitting up by himself. He likes this chair because he's not as confined as he was in his old high chair. I like the chair because of it's sturdy construction, modern looks and also because he will be able to use it without the tray table as he gets older. Here's the but: the straps are flimsy and poorly designed. There's a crotch strap under the tray table that attaches to the seat. It's very short and cannot be adjusted, so once you lower the seat, you have to remove it. I wouldn't leave him unattended in the chair because the shoulder straps allow him too much movement because of the way they're attached to the back of the chair and the waist belt fits too low on his body. Also, the straps have to constantly be re-adjusted.

May not look the best after 7years, but still holding up strong.
This is just a amazing high chair! I purchased this high chair the year of 2013. The high chair is now a chair at the table. The only thing that makes me upset is the new feet they have on them. It would have been so nice of the company would have replaced our feet out for the new ones. The feet that are on ours snapped off in the first year. They were just a long piece of plastic. So the back of them just snapped off right away, they did not hold up. The other problem is the wood, it is so soft the children like to chew on the back of it. That will leave teeth marks in it. But like I said at the beginning mine my not look the best but it is still holding on.

Perfect Additional Seat ...
The chair grows as the child grows but has to be disassembled to make that happen in the tray area. Not a big deal. The plastic tray comes off for easy cleaning. The chair has a combo belt and armstrap fastener for that busy bee little one but you don't have to put it on. The back goes up to the neck for up to a one year old and comes with a small flat cushion that can be removed for handwashing unless you can work miracle s around the velcro ... lol. I love it. The baby loves it. The family loves it. And it looks so good! 👍

Worst high chair
I bought two of these and hate them! Wish i could return them! Their design is bad in the sense that the only way the seat and footrest are held in is by tightening the sides so to move them you habe to unscrew the sides, on one of mine when the screws are completly tight the seat still slides back and forth. In addition the strap that goes between the babies legs to help keep them in only works when the seat is in the highest position which ks too high for my 7 month olds but further down the strap cant be used so they are at risk of sliding through below the tray. One of the tray covers does not clip on correctly so its easily knocked off by the baby which is a real pain. Also the buckling straps to hold baby in are seemingly unusable. They do not attach to the seat they are just loose and wont hold the baby in at all. Im liekly going to have to buy new seats completly because ive already assembled these so its too late. Dont buy it!

Great product, but disappointed with my broken tray cover
This is the best high chair/toddler chair. I love it for my 18-month-old and my 4 1/2-year-old has been in one that we got used for two years and it’s been amazing to grow with him so that his feet can be comfortable on the ground no dangling feet and it’s awesome. We just bought this one for my younger son. I would not recommend it for much younger than 18 months Because there’s quite a large gap from the high chair tray to the back of the seat and us would lead to lots of food dropped in your babies lap. I want disappointment is that the tray cover, which I love by the way, came broken so my son can pull it off.

Works well
If you are looking for a high chair that is not easily tipped over by a strong toddler (4 year old) then this is the one. My son is very strong. The flat tips helps a lot. He can not tip over and trust me he tried lol

Disappointed
I was disappointed in the quality of the wood (it is a soft wood and marks easily). Also you have to use an Allen key to adjust the seat and every time you take off and put on the tray. Definitly not worth $100. I still can figure out the seat belt.

love the look of this high chair
I love the look of this chair, however, I ended up returning it as it did not fit our needs. We were looking for a high chair that all sizes of children could use. The description shows that it adjusts & is suitable for all ages, even adults. To adapt the chair for another size of child, you have to take it apart by using the alan key. This is time consuming and not practical when needed daily for more than one child. The tray does not come off unless you unscrew the whole chair. The harness straps are not user friendly and the strap between the legs is too short. I'm happy that Amazon has a good return policy. PM
