Konjac Sponge, Original

Thanks to Swaggable for sending me a free sample Dew Puff Original Sponge! #GotItFreeI was pretty excited to try out this facial sponge as I'm almost always looking to exfoliate due to being acne-prone. I used this sponge every morning for two weeks and was impressed with its gentle exfoliation but found it hard to clean near my nose without getting a lot of soap up my nose :( It also takes longer than I'd like to rinse out the soap after use and didn't seem fully dried out even after 24hr. Therefore I gave up on using it on my face.However, since then I've been using it as a body bath scrub sponge for my toddler (11 mo) and it's perfect! Her baths are still around every 3-4 days which is plenty of time for it to completely dry out. It's nice and scrubby but super gentle, perfect for baby skin! It's also easy to rinse when fully submerged in water. 5 stars, great for babies/toddlers bath time!

Cleansing and exfoliation

One of my favorite beauty vloggers praises this sponge, so I was very excited to try it! It's been almost a month now & I have really enjoyed using this daily with my usual facial cleanser. It feels gentle enough for daily use even with my sensitive skin. I also feel like I'm able to use less product to get a much better lather & distribution of product on my face. It also feels more hygienic to use the sponge than my hands (even after I've washed them). It dries hard like a pumice stone, but becomes soft & lush after being rehydrated. I'm very satisfied with this product & will be reordering accordingly.

I purchased this prior to a vacation where I can only bring a carry-on and a Clarisonic would be too heavy for my bag. I wanted to use it to remove waterproof sunblock from my face and I didn't expect anything special from it since it was only $7. But to my surprise, it makes my face somewhat glowy. I even noticed a big difference with my nose it is much clearer from whiteheads. So I continued using it and up until now I havnt gone back to Clarisonic!I really love it! and it works really great!

I'm surprised at how well the dew puff works at exfoliating. It's so soft but yet is so effective. I use it only in the morning. I run it under the water for a couple seconds and then add my cleanser. I would recommend getting a hook of some short to make sure that it doesn't grow any mold. Usually by the next day, the sponge has dried out enough to be pretty rough. I use mine for about 2-3 months before I get a replacement.

i saw this being averetised on youtube and i had to have it. for the price i think it is a rip off! i was not very gentle however i was using it as much and as often as i normally would with a facial sponge and 3 days into using it i noticed that it was tearing. tearing, and tearing and tearing, and by the 5th day of using it it was starting to leave a hole and when you touched it it left and weird mineral on my fingers like, if a babys dipar got wet and riped, it felt like that. also i did not like that it was not easy to dry between washing my face at night and then again the next night the sponge was still wet. and even if you had a container to store it in a see it smelling like mildo. i really with this product was better......

I have to say, this is a product that's exactly as described and works as well (or perhaps better) than my Clarisonic. Blasphemy, I know. The only thing I will say is that if you overuse the konjac sponge, it will tear up your skin. I like using it so often that this actually happened, so just be careful that you're using it gently, once a day, tops. It'll make your skin feel ridiculously clean and at this price, it's worth a try.

I bought and began using the dew puff. It was a nice easy way to exfoliate. But it began to turn black in the center. I did hang it up but it touched the clean window sill in my bathroom. Perhaps this is why, although they had no directions that I saw that even said to hang it up. Suddenly after about 2-3 weeks' use it turned black and kept getting worse. I assume that was mold, don't know for sure. I called the company to ask about this and there was no one to speak to. Then I sent an email and never received a response. I would not recommend it.
