They work.
These replacement remote controls work perfectly with our Craftsman garage door opener. The remotes were extremely easy to pair with the garage door opener using the opener's instructions. (It's best to clear all "remembered" remote controls from the garage door opener instead of simply adding these new remotes. If not, there's a risk of "bumping off" a remote from the opener's memory. The garage door opener can remember just six or seven remote controls.)

Garage door opener kicked the out of the system
I unpacked them, and read the instructions on how to pair them with my garage door opener. One of them came with dead batteries. So I had to replace that before I could pair them. We were able to pair them, and one of them worked long enough for me to use them twice. The other one worked long enough to use it 3 or 4 times. Then the garage door opener kicked them out of the system. I repaired them with the system. Once the first one was paired, I tested it. It worked just fine twice, once to open the door, and once to close it. I paired the second one, and tested it as well. It opened and closed the door one time each. When I left the following morning, I went out through the garage, with the intention of closing the garage door from my car as I left. It wouldn’t work!! I had to get back out of my car, go through the garage, close the door using the button inside the garage, then go out of my house using the front door, lock it up, then get back in the car so I could leave. The remote opener had been kicked out of the system again!! We tried again to pair it to the system, and ended up with the same results with both of them. They were SUPPOSED to be compatible with my system!!!

Good for cost
We bought 4 of these. They all programmed with different buttons, some large, some small. Not sure why. We tried reprogramming, but didn't make a difference. But they work, so we're just going to mark the working button.

Works great, just don't follow their instructions
Purchased for a Craftsman garage door opener with the red/orange learn button as a replacement for my son's remote. Price was right and one day shipping. Only issue is that I could not program it with the instructions that came with it or in the product page, which were both different by the way. This is what worked for me after several attempts of trying their steps.1. Put the remote in program mode by pressing any 2 buttons until you get a solid light.2. Press the learn red/orange learn button on the garage door opener.3. Press the button on the remote that you want to program until the light on the garage door opener goes on.4. Once the light goes on, I pressed the same 2 buttons to take the remote out of programming mode.5. Remote should be programmed and ready for use.

Works Perfectly!
Works perfectly! Photo shows the pair of new ones on left, plus an original Crafsman, and a LiftMaster, that will all be used between car visors and indoors. Very important when you press the "learn" button on the garage console that you don't hold it down too long - that clears the settings from any existing remotes. So if you are adding additional as I did, take all your remotes to the console at the same time, press the learn button quickly & test them one at a time - and then test any you set up prior, before you go onto the next. This also applies to the keypad remote as well, because when I held the button too long I cleared the setting from that one also. As long as you pay attention to this important detail when adding to existing, setup is a breeze and they will work perfectly. A great value!

Worked with Craftsman garage door opener from 1998
Worked with both my Craftsman door openers from 1998 that has red button (label on my openers has faded so not sure which model I have, but my manual lists three different model numbers 139.53662SRT2 13953670SRT1 139.53675SRT2. Setup is easy, just press red button and release it (don't hold for too long as after about 5-6 seconds it will wipe out any remotes you might have already programmed) , then press which button on the remote you want to use for that opener (light on opener will then blink), then press button on remote again and the door will open. and you are all set One tip is that if you are programming more than one remote you will need to wait a couple minutes before you program the second remote - after you program the first remote and use it to open/close the door, simply wait until the light on the opener goes off and then program the next remote.I have two craftsman garage door openers, I was able to program the remotes - so on each remote one button controls one opener and the other opener is controlled by the second button on the remote (didn't program third button on the remote as I only have two openers).
