Dust Caps for 1.25" Telescope Eyepieces Barlow Lens or Other Accessories - 5 Plug and 5 Cap a Set

The plugs are not for eyepieces! they fit in the female 1.25” receptacles of barlows and diagonals. The caps are for the male end of an 1.25” eyepiece only. bearing this in mind, this product works perfectly for its intended purpose. as all eyepieces have different dimensions on the exit side, you’ll need to measure your eyepieces to find suitable covers.

Some reviewers say the dust caps are a little loose on their eyepieces. Mine fit just fine. I've used 3 so far on a Celestron and two Meade EPs. They fit perfectly on the Celestron and one of the Meades, and a little less snug - but not "loose" - on the second Meade. I switched the caps on the Meades with each other, and now both fit perfectly.A great bargain. Just wish they had them for .965"

I tried these on several different diagonals, including a Takahashi prism, GSO dielectric, Vixen prism, and Orion mirror diagonal.The caps fit the diagonal nosepieces just fine, but the plugs for the eyepiece holders are about one mm too small in diameter for a proper fit. You can get the plugs to stay in the holder by screwing in the adjuster screws or collet more than normal, but then it’s way too tight to insert an eyepiece and so it’s unnecessarily inconvenient.These are probably not worth the trouble and I recommend looking elsewhere for your spare caps and plugs. The Svbony caps and plugs do fit properly, so those are a viable substitute for these.

I've been is the telescopes for 50 years and I have a bunch of various eye pieces and accessories and so needed some caps and the problem with theses they don't really fit the various types of eyepieces they need to have a more variety pack a different sizes and applications because they're relatively expensive

These fit great on 1-1/4" eyepieces and the plugs are a perfect fit to barlows, diagonals, etc.

Not all of my lens could use either of caps. Disappointed in that sense, but I should not have lost the caps I did. The ones that fit work just fine. I never expected all of the lens would be able to use outer ones, but thought more would be able to use inner caps.

The pack comes with 5 pairs....You might want to buy a second!

I had several 1.25" eyepieces that I acquired second hand that were missing caps. So, I found these on Amazon and thought that they would solves the problem. Ouf ot 6 eyepieces I could only use one side, the cap that fits over the lens. The bottom cap did not fit any of the eyepieces openings . You could only use the cap of the set and none of plugs fit. You will need to buy two sets to fully protect one eyepiece. Not very cost efficient and at >$9 for 5 sets it does not come cheap.

If you have a telescope, and have accessories for that scope, then these are for you, especially for barlow lenses. Cannot be beat.

they fit, they are durable and the semi-transparent white color is a great deal easier to spot and usein the dark! :)

Would be great if they had the caps for the tops of the eyepieces though...
