Lightweight with great tight stream and wide stream pressure (longevity TBD)
I read the lousy reviews on this and shopped for a different one, but really didn't find one with significantly better reviews (and certainly not at this price). The more I searched, I just kept coming back and taking another look at this one so I bought it.First impressions:I boat in Florida. I need a good sprayer to rinse down my boat and trailer after a day on saltwater. After a few uses, this absolutely exceeds my expectations which were admittedly low from the poor reviews. I have owned a few of these fire hose type nozzles with my favorite so far being a Craftsman that I bought at Sears at the mall when that was a thing. The Craftsman is bigger and heavier and has lasted over 15 years so far and is still going strong. It shuts off with a twist in either direction, but doesn't have the precise spray that this one does. The worst I have owned were from Harbor Freight and I literally gave them away.Anyway, general observations and why I like this one:- Compact and lightweight... remarkably lightweight- When it is shut off, there is not even a drip coming from it- I need a 12-15 feet of a strong tight jet of a water stream to reach my brakes, ends of torsion axles, and various trailer components while I lay on the ground at the rear of my boat. This nozzle provides that, possibly better than my Craftsman nozzle.- I need a nice cone of water to rinse larger areas including the inside and outside of my boat. This cone needs to be strong enough to knock off salt (salt removal is mechanical, you have to physically knock it off the boat). While this nozzle has a very small adjustment range that provides a hard hitting cone of water (and the cone itself is pretty small), it is strong and works well. I am pleased with it.Cons:- It only shuts off when twisted in one direction and it seems to be the opposite of the direction that I want to naturally twist. I will get used to this.- To get a hard jet of water in a cone shape, the adjustment window is rather small. I will say that the cone it does make works well. It will make a cone of water in any size, but it has a super small window to make one where the water comes out stinging hard.Longevity:To be determined. I will update this if/when it fails. My Craftsman set a high bar for this.

Breaks with minimal use
Awful. Completely awful nozzle. Broke within weeks. Trying to twist it to the off position results in constant spray out the side thanks to broken seals. Third one now that’s broken. The flexzilla hose has been absolutely great with no kinks ever, but this twist nozzle is pure garbage. Avoid.

Great in an Unorthodox Application
I’m using this as an adjustable higher flow shower head, which is obviously atypical. It performs better in this role than any fire hose type nozzle that I have, including some really nice ones. I suspect that’s because it is lighter duty compared to most of the others and is smaller with lower flow* (e.g. the flow of 1” Underhill I have exceeds the flow at the shower outlet over most of its adjustment range; a brass 1” fogger from Amazon does pretty well, just not as good as the Flexilla). With that said, I also have a mostly-plastic light duty store brand one from Ace Hardware, and the Flexilla clearly outperforms it for any application and is more precisely made._____________________* For reference, the shower head is fed by 1/2” copper into a stainless tri clamp 1/2” full bore 3-way T ball valve, then through a couple more feet of stainless 1/2” pipe with tri-clamp terminations, then into a stainless 1” ball swivel, and terminating in a 3/4” GHT to female ball-lock socket (Essential Washer makes the best I’ve used, very smooth, precisely cut and with 6 ball bearings—not the ones with the integral check valve because they reduce flow and have compatibility in some applications, like on the threaded end of a traditional Gilmour type sprayer), and all heads or nozzles have a compatible stainless ball-lock male plug. The plug threads are male 1/2” NPT for shower heads (Denord has been the most consistent for me, but several sellers make them to this spec with similar quality), 3/4” GHT for hose nozzles (also Essential Washer) (Note, the ID on all the ball lock plugs is right at 1/2”, regardless of thread, so they might limit flow if fed from a source that actually maintains a higher ID throughout). Also, water pressure reads about 70 PSI at the head.FYI, for shower hoses, I used 1/2” x 3/4” silicone tubing (Derpipe from Amazon, both the regular and the one with the braided reinforcement have worked great for me) terminated directly with stainless 5/8” barb to ball-lock fittings from brewhardware_com (these sockets only have 3 balls, but that’s the most I’ve seen on barb-to-ball-lock anyway; their silicone tubing couldn’t tolerate the pressure and blew up like a balloon). I used 316 bandit jr for clamps because they won’t cut you while sliding through your hands, but that’s not a very consumer-friendly option, and copper pex rings, stainless ear clamps, or something else might be good too.

Excellent, but ball bearings might need some grease or something after 6 months.
This is an excellent idea with ball-bearings adjustable and convenient. However, only 4 stars because it only lasted outdoors here in Florida in the hot sun for about 6 months. Now it leaks even when in the off position. Maybe the new models have improved? anyways, still a great option! Would definitely buy again.

Very nice nozzle
Stream quality of a much larger and heavier style but much lighter and more compact.I will be ordering a few more for around the yard.
