Savic Rody Igloo Rat and Guinea Pig House… (Green)

I have two guinea pigs and I got this since they fight over the other castle I have for them. It is very thick material and extremely easy to clean. The size is perfect for guinea pigs - it may be a bit big for smaller rodents. The only complaint I have is that the top and bottom are a little hard to click together. You have to line the edges up just right and really push! It doesn't make me like the product any less, I just wish it went together a little easier.

This is a fantastic product that I love and my rats love it too! It's sturdy, well constructed, and from a brand I trust and have used for 15 years.The only contrary thing I have to say is that the color is a little different from what is displayed in the description. I have other Savic igloos and expected the lime green color shown on the description would be the same as the lime green of my other ones. In reality, it's a lovely pastel celery green color. I actually love the color more than the bright lime green I expected.I did my best to show the difference in color in the picture - at the top is one of my small Savic igloos in the "regular" lime green color. In the middle is this igloo, and in the foreground is a bright pea green ceramic food dish.

Your guinea pig will lie on their liquid waste because of the plastic floor. Get an igloo style instead, this one is a health hazard for your pet guinea pig. The entrance is small as well, and the ceiling too low.

I ordered this for my hedgehog as I liked how the breathing holes were higher up, her feet won't get stuck/hurt on them. However, the second two pictures are what I received which is not at all what was advertised on Amazon. I will be able to make this work but the advertised item looked like it may make things easier for her dig box. The first one I got was the dark blue one and the green one is what the seller sent recently which is the exact same thing as what was initially sent, both are not what was advertised. The seller was kind and prompt but I am still disappointed that I was not able to receive what I was hoping for.

Bought this for my two medium sized male rats. They immediately took to it, and like to stash food as well as sleep inside it. They love their space pod and hammocks but I wanted something durable and easy to clean lately for the ground level. One of them hurt their hind foot doing god knows what and I had to restrict them to a one-level enclosure while he healed. The plastic is sturdy, an attractive color, has ventilation holes. It clips and unclips for super easy cleaning. I use dish soap, hot water and vinegar. My rats don’t chew very much despite their heritage so your mileage may vary in terms of durability.

I bought the blue color (which isn't the same blue as the first image but it's the same blue as in the other images) and it's perfectly sized for a rat. I've filled it with fleece and it keeps them warm for the winter. Sometimes they prefer it over their hammocks. Exactly as advertised.

I was so excited to get these for our two girls. I read reviews and looked at all the details about them and they seemed like they would be perfect and they are however these are not quite big enough for adult guinea pigs. We have two that aren’t even that large and they didn’t like them. They couldn’t turn around easily and they don’t have a second entrance. They were literally in the cage for 30 mins and I packed them back up and I will be returning. Meanwhile paying the $5.99 fee which is ridiculous!

This is one of the main sleepy places for my rattie girls. They've chewed the hell out of it, but who cares? Very easy to clean, light weight but not small enough to get knocked about in their cage.
