Everest Gym Bag with Wet Pocket, Dark Gray/Black

I have been using this bag for the last 9 months and it has been fantastic. I use it primarily for my bicycling/spinning gear and it holds everything I need. It can also easily accommodate 3 bottles of different sizes, which I love (see my picture). At first, I was not sure this bag would last construction wise, since the metal claps seemed small and the material is on the thinner side. But, it is holding up great -- no tears, breaks, or other issues. This bag is probably not big enough for tons of gear but makes a great overall workout bag. I would buy again.

I received this bag today so I've only taken it out to the gym once. I will update my review after several days/couple of weeks to give a fair review after some usage.The bag is bigger than what I initially expected. It has a big inner compartment with a smaller inside zip pocket that hangs from the back lid seam. In this pocket, I was able to stuff a body poof into and a few other items with room to spare.On one side of the bag, there is an open mesh pocket (no zipper) in which you can slide your keys and other things into; I consider this pocket to be large - it spans the side of the entire duffle.On the other side of the bag is a zip pocket that has a mesh side. When you unzip this compartment, it opens up into a bag that lays inside of the bigger main compartment of the bag. I wear a size 11 women's/9.5 men's shoe and my tennis shoes fit perfectly in that compartment and is easy to zip back up. This is also what they consider the "wet pocket" as the mesh on the side is supposed to air out the compartment and/or dry the items inside.The inside main compartment is roomy. Now if you are toting around tennis shoes in the outer compartment/the bag that lays into the bigger/main compartment, there won't be *as* much room as empty, but it still offers quite a bit of room to spare. I was able to fit a tank top, yoga pants, socks, a toiletries bag (full) and a few other items in it with room to spare.On the front of the bag, there are 2 zip compartments with an open pocket in between. The pocket in between is meant for water bottles. If you have something that is a wider circumference than say a regular 20 oz bottles, it's likely to not fit. The other zip pockets come in handy for storing smaller items and have plenty of room for what you need.The overall feel of this bag, feels good - and sturdy. It fits into a standard locker with a little bit of maneuvering on the sides of the bags but overall, its a great gym bag.I'm pleased with it and hope to get a lot of good use out of it.

Just received my Everest bag and love the size for a 4'10" person. Easy to carry to Aikido, those pockets in front are a dream come true for me for glasses, keys and hold snug my water bottle that was constantly falling out of mesh pockets. Also the 2 front pockets have a small mesh sleeve in the front for a fast throw of anything small. Love that it has 4 little pegs, whatever you call them to set the bag down and not ruin the bottom or piping of the material.UPDATE. 1.5 week later. So disappointed. BEWARE The metal (looking) parts that hook the large shoulder strap completely broke off. In the process of returning now.

Nice bag with lots of pockets, but the side pocket tore after only 1 use

Excellent Bag! I was looking for a bag to solve the following two problems,- Small enough to fit in the small lockers in my gym at work (old bag was way too big)- I work out first thing in the am so I wear my workout gear to the gym and pack my work clothes. As such, I wanted a bag where the main compartment was fresh, and the sweaty clothes could be packed separately after the workoutPros: This bag is perfect. Small enough to fit in my locker at work. Easily fits my work clothes; shoes, socks, underwear, undershirt, belt, folded slacks, sport shirt, and sweater. I keep all shoes in the wet compartment which is vented. After my workout, I can fit my size 11.5 running shoes, socks, shorts, shirt, and a pair of sweats in the wet compartment. Adding a sweatshirt might be pushing it. While not a requirement, the extra pockets have been great. I use one for toiletries and heart rate strap (not tall enough for big shampoo or lotion bottles - those go in a ziplock in main part of the bag). I use the other for keys, wallet, badge, watch, headphones, etc. The water bottle feature is nice as I can hydrate on my way to my desk. All in all a great bag.Cons: While they aren't cons for me, this is definitely a daily bag. People who like to bring a big bag at the beginning of the week, leave it at the gym, and bring it home on Friday would likely be disappointed. Additionally, I didn't notice a strap/hook to hang it by its end from the top of the locker - not a huge deal as it lays flat at the bottom in my locker. Finally, it's not heavy duty rip-stop ballistic stuff. It's probably going to wear out. I'll buy another when it does.

Never owned a gym bag before, so this was a purchase I was excited about.In my bag, I can fit, without any issues, two 32oz powerades, an NBA regulation sized basketball, my basketball shoes, a towel, another gym outfit (shorts & shirt, not bulky 'everyday' clothing), my wallet, keys and my travel sized toiletries. Basically this bag holds everything I need to make it to the gym and have a successful workout.Haven't had any issues with construction, although I can see where people have had issues with the shoulder strap buckles as they seem to be made of some sort of hollow cheap tin metal stuff (sorry I can't think of the correct verbiage to describe the metal). A rather silly and careless oversight in my opinion for an otherwise stellar gym bag.Would be 5 stars if the shoulder strap buckles were of a higher quality.

The bags design is perfect with loads of room for gym gear, water bottles, size 13 trainers and extra pockets, BUT falls apart easily! The stitching for the shoe compartment fell apart in a matter of weeks and now the clips for the shoulder strap snapped.Very cheap materials it seems

Lovely large bag with several pockets which help me stay organised. Used mainly for swimming, I have twins so take a lot of stuff. Seems good quality and reliable, just what I was after

This bag ticks all the right boxes on paper, metal shoulder attachments, good compartments, seperate shoe section, size and the bonus bottle carrier, but it is a real let down when it comes to material quality and construction.I do not think it is actually 600D nylon, when compared to another bag I know is made with that, this feels flimsy and easily tearable. The internal pocket for the shoes is almost paper thin. The mesh on the shoe pocket and outside you can tell will tear very easily.The worst aspect is the zippers however which are stiched shoddily and feel very cheap, I can see these failing fast.I'm quite disappointed with some of the online review websites who reviewed this bag and put it as their top recommendation, it is far from the quality they suggested it was and will be less trusting of them in the future.A disappointing Christmas gift that is being returned.

Me fascina esta maleta. Tiene espacio suficiente no sólo para ir al gimansio sino para irte de viaje una semana. El espacio separado que tiene para los zapatos es una maravilla ya que es súper funcional (no tienes que batallar moviendo tu ropa para sacarlos o ensuciar tu ropa dejándo los tenns hasta arriba). Aunque a primera vista se ve pequeña, le cabe fácilmente la ropa necesaria (para un hombre) para irse de viaje una semana. En resumen, es una maleta muy funcional y una ganga (yo pedí la versión roja). 5/5.

El tamaño es bastante adecuado, regularmente llevo zapatos, equipo de natación (gorra, goggles, traje de baño, sandalias, toalla, cuerdas para nado estático y parachute) además de pants, tenis y dos playeras de repuesto. Tienen un bolsa especial para zapatos. Al que me agradó también es la calidad de los cierres, a 5 meses no se han caído, situación que en otras mochilas es habitual.

Esta maleta para el gimnasio es compacta y práctica. Todo mi equipo de ejercicio y mis cosas de baño caben sin problema en ella. Los compartimentos laterales son muy prácticos para cosas como celular, llaves, candado, etc.; una malla a los costados para mi toalla de mano y guantes; otra compartimento con una bolsa para equipo húmedo o sucio y una bolsita con cierre en el compartimento interior.Lo único que no me gustó fue el compartimento para la botella de agua, pues es muy pequeño. Creo que sólo una botellita de agua de menos de 750 ml cabe ahí. Los materiales también son un poco delgados.La relación calidad-precio es excelente en general.

This is a nice bag. Nice size, a wet pocket and a water bottle holder that works well. The weakness of this bag is the wet pocket. The pocket material pulled a bit from the interior of the bag after a few months of daily use and the strands of the mesh covering the pocket started to snap creating some unsightly gaps. The bag is still useable. If you don't use the bag and wet pocket daily like me it will probably last longer without issues.

Good bag. Zippers are terrible (very cheap feeling and also prone to grabbing the material under them) but the size and features of this bag are perfect. The water bottle pocket is even insulated. I think it's a little over priced given that the zippers will probably fail very quickly, but I will enjoy the bag until that happens.

En general, es de buena calidad, el bolso para los tenis o ropa húmeda es muy funcional. Es más ancha de lo que pensé, habrá a quienes les convenga por que podrán meter más cosas, pero al llenarla, me resulta un poco incómoda al cargar al hombro (no por el peso) más bien se me dificulta caminar ya que no se acomoda en mi pierna a diferencia cuando es más larga que ancha.Por cierto, en mi caso particular, me llegó sin la correa para el hombro, no quise lidiar con la devolución por que la necesitaba, y solo le puse la correa de otra maleta. Pero sí me decepcionó...

I wanted a bag that would hold my water bottle securely and provided a separate compartment for my court shoes. This bag met the basic requirements and was priced appropriately. There is plenty of room for a complete change of clothes in the interior. I don't expect this bag to last for years of hard use and it will be replaced when appropriate without regret as the investment is not large.

La verdad es que en la imagen se ve más increíble de lo que es y el material a mi pensar no es tan bueno, al igual que las costuras. Además se descosió una parte de una de las bolsas. Me sirve, me funciona y cumple su objetivo. Pero la verdad no fue lo que esperaba.
