Classic plastic free electric kettle
The media could not be loaded. I bought this because there’s no plastic on the inside of the pot where hot water touches. Video is ownership condition after 3 months - easy to wipe clean, tasteful design.Boils 2 cups of tea in about 2 minutes, so more time (and energy) efficient than stove top or microwave boiling. American plugs have lower voltage so if you’re from a place with 230V outlets don’t be too concerned the kettle is heating up slower than you’re used to, that’s normal for 120V.Has all the safety feature (circuit breaks when you lift the pot) and pours nicely. You can only fill it about half way, where the metal MAX tab is (see video). Great for cups of tea or coffee or filling up a hot water bottle.

It gives me hot water and it does it fast
It has a nice look And it shuts off automatically whether you wanted to or notIt does not leakI use filtered water Heat the water Quite quickly I won't say instantly Definitely faster than on the stove topSo I am pleased with it's performance It has a spot that you could hang tea if you wanted to in itAnd it also has a filter for the spoutIt seems to be made of good material. I haven't had rust yetHow high to fill it Marker inside You don't have to feel the side. It's actually so easy I wish I took a picture and maybe do so but I have some timeWashing it isn't as easy but I've never run across the teapot that's easy to wash.. Lol. But my hand is small enough to get in there and move aroundI try not to let water sit in it when I'm not using it. With any teapot. . It's just not good to do that with metalMy tea tastes wonderful It's hot Though I wish it would heat for just a little bit longer. There is no button to change it to heat for a little bit longer that is the 1 downside. I wait a few seconds and press the button down againIt is pricey compared to what that you would put on the stove Repeat for the quality That's why you pay more

Cute!
The color is slightly different than the red kitchen aid mixer that I have, so it's not matching.. but that's okay. it still works great!

Pricey - but perfect
There are many options at 1/4 the price, but to me, this one is worth the extra money. Very efficient: I usually boil just enough for a cup of tea, which it does in barely 2 minutes. It is stylish, very well made. Looks great in the kitchen. From the photo, you might think the handle would get hot when in use, but it does not. Stays perfectly cool. If you use it enough to justify it, spend the extra bucks and get a quality product.

stylish and great function
looks as great as it works. the base stays cool, picking up the kettle seperates it from base. heats quickly to a boil, shuts itself off. great for hot water to make tea, cocoa, ramen, instant soup even instant coffee.

A stylish and well made kettle, with some minor drawbacks
All in all, a great little kettle, with a couple minor drawbacks to note.Pros:Fast boiling timeSmall footprint is great for more crowded counters like mineAppealing "modern but retro" designConvenient cord storageWell made and sturdy, in line with typical KitchenAid products in terms of qualityCons:Smaller water volume than many other kettlesNo way to see water level without opening the pot - I thought this wouldn't bother me, but it turns out I've come to rely on that featurePricier than many other stainless steel modelsPlastic filter assembly on the interior makes for a stainless steel kettle that is not fully stainless steelFor those worried about the plastic:You can remove it entirely. To do so, you will need a pair of short-handled pliers, small enough to fit inside the kettle. First, slide out the filter itself by pulling upward. This will take out the filter panel, leaving the plastic filter mounting assembly. In order to remove this, you will need to look inside to locate a small stainless steel protrusion in the center of the assembly. Notice that it has been twisted in order to secure the plastic. Grasp it with your pliers, and turn, straightening out the protrusion, and releasing the plastic assembly frame. You may have to wiggle the frame a bit to get it to release. Please note that you may find that this job requires small hands - the interior of the kettle is not very roomy, and I had a hard time getting operating inside of it with the pliers.
