Garbage product, buy OEM or aftermarket from a trusted seller.
I purchased this product as a gamble really, the only true HPFP I could find online is one from ECS Tuning/FCP Euro for $1100+ and I thought with this low cost, even if it was garbage it would be worth it. Turns out, it is complete garbage, when I installed the part, I anticipated that it would have worked for at least a week, but the pump started failing less than a week in. The dreaded 2BEA code had already come back within a matter of days. For the benefit of the doubt, I decided to leave it in for about a month to see if there was any difference, towards the end of the month I had it installed, the HPFP completely failed, and I would have to reset my codes using my JB4 at least 4-5 times per drive as the pump would throw the car into limp mode over and over again. I monitored the HPFP pressure in the JB4 app and with this aftermarket HPFP installed, the pump would show a "2" on the scale when it would fail, and when I reset the codes, and re-cycled the ignition, the pump would read between a 6-7 on their scale (for context, I'm not too sure what metric this is being measured in, I would assume psi aka 2 = 2000psi, but I am not sure), and after driving for a while, the pump reading would shoot back down to 2. After re-installing the OEM failing pump (lol) the car started working as it was before, obviously not at peak performance, but at least it wasn't being thrown into limp mode consistently. The OEM pump I have installed at idle sits roughly at 6-7 on their scale, and then on WOT, my OEM pump was between a 12-13 on their scale (again no idea what the actual metric is). Safe to say this product is garbage. Of course I am well out of my return window, but for anyone else actually looking, STAY AWAY. BUY OEM. I know the cost sucks, but it is worth not getting the headache this product caused. P.S. Still willing to send the garbage back for a refund if the seller is willing ;)

Saftey hazard that may total your engine.
I've tried 3 units: 2 failed within half a mile of driving. The third lasted ~24 miles - I assumed it was stable so tried 3rd gear 80% throttle acceleration and nearly blew my engine. Safe fuel rail pressure on the BMW N54 engine is in the1600-2400 PSI range. This pump immediately dropped to 400 PSI which I was very lucky to have been using supplemental fueling or this value part would have resulted thousands in engine replacement parts and labor. This company clearly does not conduct basic bench testing prior to selling this critical component to under informed customers. Amazon, please remove this part until the manufacturer implements verifiable quality control measures. They are knowingly slapping these together without conducting basic bench testing. A failed fuel pump at highway speeds is extremely dangerous. Please remove this listing before someone gets hurt or worse.

Cheap replacement if you need to get by for a few months
My 2012 x5 hpfp had completely failed. Would start but only run a few seconds before shutting off. Had the code for low fuel rail pressure. Since this seemed most likely the cause and so many reviews are all over the place I took a chance on this one being familiar with the brand. Immediately after replacement vehicle started fine and much quicker than it had previously. It rand great for maybe 3 months but then I started to have slightly longer cranks and would intermittently run a little rough. It continued this way for maybe 2 mk tha gradually both getting worse. This past week when accelerating the car hesitated and then went into limp mode. I pulled the code and it was the same as before when I put this one in.At the 3 month mark I suspect it was beginning to fail but waited for it to fully show itself. The job takes about 3 hrs but would rather not being doing it again and this time in the winter. I also think something like this should come with some sort of warranty (longer than 30 days). If I company can't stand behind a part for at least 6 months it should say something, and I should have schecked that before purchasing. Never had issues with Kipa in the past but can't say they will be my first choice in the future. If looking at this pump I could continue your search and possibly spend a bit more on it the Bosch so you only have to to the job once. Only giving 2 stars cause it wasn't DOA.

Low reliability
The pump failed 34 days & 2,000 miles after installation. Which was 4 days after the return date.I purchased, and installed a OEM pump and haven't had any issues.Highly recommend not buying this product.

Just trying to get by in the world
Edit...2-8-2024 pump failingOrdered part Saturday, recieved part Sunday.....i ate my words magically, seen the end of YouTube installing hpfp.... been a honda man for over 20yrs doing my own work... probably took me around a few hours just taking my time.I recommend getting a socket style Allen wrench.....i only removed the air cleaner housing and throttle body...... so far so good. 5/2/2023 I'll update if and when this pump kicks the can. Bought the 135i September last year........ first time going wot through the gears, catless down pipe, intercooler, charge piping, catback exhaust, intake, and mhd stage 2+..... feels good!
