Small Business Management: Entrepreneurship and Beyond 6th Edition

I took this course during my undergrad. The information, tools, and resources in this textbook is so valuable for any business oriented individual, entrepreneur, and small business owners. I purchased this book two years after I took this course for myself. I also purchased this textbook for a friend who was looking to start her own business. Just recently purchased this textbook for my brother who has his small business. He loves it. This book is well written. It’s valuable for those who are willing to learn. I have not decided on opening up a business but this will come in handy. The professor I took the course with based his texts off the chapters so I literally had to read the chapters in order to pass. That is how I grew to love it and how valuable the information is for business people. Now having earned an MBA, the book is still valuable today as it was for me during my undergrad when I took the course.

I read this textbook with the exception of two chapters (legal and International business). The textbook provides a great macro view of business management by touching on the most relevant topics in each segment of business from the authors perspective. The textbook also delivers information about having a competitive advantage which I felt was a nice touch. I definitely recommend this book.

Book is fine except sent me one to rent that is coming out of its binding. Makes it awkward to hold and read.

this book is really good, yet the instructor for this class I took that required this book was the absolute BEST! the format and order of topics in the book were very well planned out.

It a good book with a lot of information to help in the real world as well as in the class room.

Excellent book very easy to read

The author clearly fills pages in an effort to make this book seem more substantial that it actual is. Right from chapter one I wondered what business this author has run other that maybe writing books. I would say he is probably a great marketer but little else.I would recommend if your Professor assigns this book to drop/change the class because clearly she has no business teaching BUSINESS.....
