Tracfone Rebel 4 4G LTE Prepaid Smartphone Bundle with Tracfone 1 Year of New Service (1200 MIN/1200 Text/1200MB)

I bought this during Covid 19 to contact parents and students in my school district without using my personal cell phone which is prohibited by our district. I work with the whole school , so I really didn't want my personal cell number out there, but I wanted students and parents to be able to call me back for help so didn't want to use *67.This phone is nicer than I thought! It came beautifully packaged with earphones, cord, battery, car charger, and a case. I tried to use the email site to hook it up, but it didn't work so I called instead thank goodness and it was easy to get started. There were some glitches but the phone rep stayed with me until we got it working right. And, I don't know why some people complained that they didn't get the minutes package, You have to read the 2 codes on the red card, one for the phone activation and the other for the minutes Sim Card service plan, which came to more than was advertised. It cost me nothing more. I just started to use it and am able to contact my students and parents with calls and texts that are separate from my personal phone. It has a camera, facebook ,other apps, Gmail, etc.all the bells and whistles, all of which I won't be needing, but it has everything! It would be a great teen or grandma phone too!

Really good value when bundled with 1yr prepaid service. I like that the service allows the phone to be used as a wifi hotspot when needed. Of course, if you want 1.5 GB of data to last you a year, don't watch videos or listen to streaming music except on wifi.The phone is a very good Android device, I like it that it has 2 GB of RAM, and the 16 GB of storage can be easily expanded with a microSD card. There are some built in apps that you may not care for, and can remove safely, such as a news app and "wifi utility".The only drawback is that the phone is locked to the carrier, but this is to be expected--the phone is pretty much given away when bundled with 1 year of service. If you choose to not continue the service after 1 year, it is still a really good device to be used within wifi range.Make sure not to swap around SIM cards until the phone is activated. Then you can try your SIM card if you want on another phone. Just for kicks, I verified mine works on an old iPhone. But there shouldn't be a need to do this unless you damage your LG phone, I put mine back in there.

Its cheaper to buy new phone that comes with 1year membership and additional minutes, text and data than just buying an extended 1 year membership which would have cost the same but no new phone. Phone is a good size and easing to use and read. It's reliable and seems to hold a charge better than my 2 year old phone did. If you have to renew your membership, you might as well get a new phone with the deal.

The Rebel 4 Tracfone came with everything: earbuds, chargers, basic phone case, and a year of service for an unbelievably low price. Easy to use and set up. Best value ever. Prompt delivery on the first day of the "deliver-by" window. Plus timely follow-up contact from the seller in case there were any issues. Too soon to evaluate things like battery life. I could not be more pleased with this purchase and seller. Thank you ! !

The only problem I have was my charger and cord doesn't work. I'll contact Amazon Update my phone stop working 0907 It was told it as was from Amazon.Never a again,period!

I loved the idea of no monthly cell phone charges and no contract! Paying for a year of service just makes sense to me, in every way. I don’t use my phone to call and just chat with someone, it’s used as a tool to navigate, gather important weather info, and to be there for me incase of an emergency. This phone satisfies all these criteria and much more if I choose to use all its applications, and if my income drops, then no worries I still will have my phone and use of it for a year! 1. When I swipe to outer circle when answering calls, most of the time I lose the caller. I end up calling them back frustrated.2. battery life- I must keep phone off to save some battery life. I have as many apps turned off as possible so they aren't running in the background to save some battery when the phone is on.3. this is my first experience with a smartphone. I am a flip phone user which isn't the phones fault. It is a challenge and learning experience.

This ia a basic phone which works fine in the USA. I am dissapointed that it doesn't work at all outside the USA. But in country it is economical and functional.
