Not sure if the author ever understood how a textbook should be formated
For some terrible reason the NBCE decided that this book is the BEST book for diagnosis. I have no background at all in formal writing; however, even I find typo's and grammatical errors in every single chapter. There is no outline for each chapter. The material skips around continuously and you have to read the chapters 2 or 3 times each just to mentally reformat them into a logical order. Intro, body conclusion. It works for paragraphs, chapters and entire books. I wish the author would find a co-writer who could help him. Maybe Resnick is available.Update:I hate finding a problem without giving a solution so here is a better answer for RehabĀ Rehabilitation of the Spine: A Practitioner's Manual .

Great Book
I've been in practice for five years and decided to get this as an additional reference to my current library. Its very informative. Provides a clear and concise summary of evidence based practice for all the common and some not so common complaints you see in daily practice. I particularly like the algorithms. I should add that I have the fourth edition of this book.

Mandatory Book for Chiropractic School
The book is hella detailed in case management which (in my opinion) is more than any chiropractor would need. But it is fantastic for reference material if you ever find yourself stuck on a patients presentation and what the differential Dx could be. One things for sure, I won't be selling it back to the book store or half.com!

Great book!
This is a very complete book. I wish they had it when I wS a student. As it turns out, my associate actually had one of these when she was in school. Perfect! I get to keep mine at home for reference.

Love the book
Great book for a chiropractor who is practicing or still in school. Great reference for tough cases, or any cases for that matter. Filled with common injury/disease presentations, algorithmic approaches and treatment options. HIghly recommend to any student or doctor!

Brilliant and practical!
First book I have ever said is a "must have" for all DC/PT students, and I'm sure it's the same for professionals. Covers the entire spectrum of potential DDXs and i love the handy algorithms to quickly refer to.

Thomas Souza really explains the many differential diagnosis of many common and uncommon medical issues very well. This may be the most value book for a chiropractic student.

Top stuff, even for Osteopathic Students!
I had been searching for a good text book full of information to help me with differential diagnosis based on mechanical causes and this seems to be it! It uses chiropractic terminology which is slightly different from osteopathic terminology, but I've not found anything better in the osteopathic books. I would compare it to the Goodman&Schneider Screening for Referral book, where that book is looking for pathological causes of presentations, and this book is looking for mechanical. I've only read through two chapters so far but I'm well impressed.

Very good reference book
Very good reference book. I gave only four stars as I think the book would have been benefited of more pictures explaining the DDs.All in all it is worth buying.
