Good TV stand
I am a 39 year old woman and was able to assemble this myself, much to the surprise of my husband. I didn’t have any issues with the hardware with one exception. On the small drawer (part N) that pulls up and down, both hinges broke in half. But otherwise I thought it was sturdy, decent quality. We got the Tobacco brown color and have a 65” TV on it, fits great

Love the shaker style and warm stain
We bought this to replace an entertainment center for our den. The directions were easy to follow but we wouldn't say it was an easy process. It looks great and love the warmth it brings to the room.Definitely would recommend examining each piece as you unbox it. We found some small chips on the front side of the cabinet which was disappointing. It isn't worth boxing it all up to return. We'll just try to fix the chips ourselves. Be aware. This is the second piece we've ordered from this line and both have had areas with chips it them. For the price it still seems to be a good value maybe. It definitely isn't perfect.

Pretty Good
This looks nice enough for a DIY tv stand. Bottom drawer tracks bent so drawer does not open easily, but overall decent tv stand.

High Quality Product for Price
The packaging of the product was impressive. Very pleased with product quality. Assembly directions were outstanding. One hint, if you are not keen on product assemblies, this will test you. You may want to get some help. Overall, extremely pleased with the product.

Assembly frustration but lovely results, definite pros and cons
This is a lovely, sturdy piece of furniture. I am experienced with making cabinets from scratch, so I thought assembly would be a piece of cake. The instructions are very readable, and it was great that all the hardware parts were labeled on their little baggies and in the instructions; however, there were several things along the way that made for difficulties and thus not giving this 4 or 5 stars. I am pleased with it overall, but assembler beware!Pros: The cam-lock screws and Allen screws make for easy assembly with the exceptions noted belowThe unit is solid and sturdy once assembled. It is as beautiful as the photograph.Cons:First, not all of the pre-drilled holes in the uprights are centered. One of the very first Allen Screws we used split out the side of one upright (see photo) - we then investigated the rest, and found we needed to re-drill to have a centered hole and avoid the problem going forward. This was true for many of the predrilled holes. Fortunately the split is hidden by a small door and is not easily seen.Second - the drop-down door hinges were a nightmare to install. The instructions are clear and logical, but I would recommend that this step be moved up to almost the beginning, reason being that once the shelf above this little door is installed, it is almost impossible to drive the screws because of lack of clearance (see pictures.). While the hinges fit nicely into their prepared slots and are stable, the holes for the screws are not pre drilled, and the only way to install the screws is at an angle...unless you employ your handy flexible extension for your driver (see photo.). Once the hinges are attached, mounting the drop down door is easy enough and can be done later.Third - mounting the door hinges is truly a miserable experience. There are tiny divots in the wood showing where the screws should be placed through the hinges, but they are not pre drilled, and if the instructions are followed to the letter, the door is placed on the hinge and then must be supported while the tiny screws slip around and you try to keep things level. Our solution (see pictures) was to stand the unit on end so that the hinges being installed were at the bottom rather than the side. We opted to not install the two larger doors because hinge installation was so difficult. The magnetic door catches were similarly difficult to install.Fourth - while there is a good bit of MDF in this construction, it does not follow that the screws given will drive easily, even with predrilled holes. The screws appear to be soft aluminum and wallow out very easily, particularly the screws used to attach the back boards. I would suggest taking the screws with you to your hardware store and matching them to a higher quality screw with the same dimensions.Final note on quality - there are inconsistencies in the finish ( see picture of what appears to be a solvent drip of some kind), but not in places easily seen, at least on my unit.

Solid Wood...solid buy!
This is the nicest Knock-Down furniture I've ever assembled. With that said, don't let the following remarks dissuade you; they are meant only to help as "heads-up" tips in assembly. Yes, it is all solid wood. My only complaint is the cam-lock system, specifically the cams are pretty cheap pot metal. Be sure the mating pins are perfectly perpendicular to the board and don't "bury" the pins past their "stop flanges".Kudos to the manufactures as they give you several extras, just in case. If the cams don't turn with moderate force, double check the pin position or you will deform the cam.As for the color debate in the reviews, I bought the "honey brown" model. The color is just slightly a half-shade darker than the Amazon pic: think: Golden > Antique Oak in color. Mine is nowhere close to walnut as some have guessed.Do yourself a HUGE favor and use a 1/4" drive ratchet with a 4mm allen head bit when attaching the top panel to the sides and interior partitions; there is almost no clearance to turn the provided allen wrench. It is tempting to screw the door hinges on the cabinet rather than putting them on the door first...DON'T. This type of Euro-hinge swings forward so the back of the door doesn't pinch on the cabinet side. Save yourself a lot of grief and mount them on the doors first. Also, the hinges adjust on all 3 axis; up and down to center the door vertically, in and out to "tip" the door in and out and in and out to "tip" the door side ways (think: rotate). The hinge plate that goes on the cabinet has two slotted hole and two round holes.Place your screws in the center of the slotted holes first, then you can check to see if the doors are the same height off the bottom of the cabinet. Adjust them until they are THEN go back and put the remaining screws in the round holes to secure the final adjustment. All the holes for the hinges and latches are not pre-drilled and may be just light "dimples". place your hardware over them and pre-drill or use an awl to mark them prior to mounting doors. As others have mentioned, the back panel is not drilled out for all of the perimeter screws. Try-fit the panels to be sure they center on the edges and over the center interior panels and pre-drill the panel and the board your screwing into. Note: all the holes in the middle areas are "half-holes". The head of the screw at those points spans where the panels butt together and "sandwiches both edges in place. Again, kudos to the manf. as they give you plenty of screws for this task. Finally, my biggest beef is the cabinet pulls. The cheezy brushed chrome finish does not say, Shaker style to me. I went to Lowes and for around $20, picked up some bronze pulls that look way better in my opinion.Yes, have a helper or hand truck when you receive the parcel it is HEAVY! BTW- the shipping was super fast, received it in two days w/o Prime!!This is a dang nice cabinet!! Supports my 55" LED TV without so much as a wiggle.

Amazon was very good about helping out
Measurements are correct, however, I feel the dimensions in the picture do not match what I received. I assumed the cupboards would be slightly larger than they are. I can make do. One of the pieces had a large crack in it. Also one of the parts doesn't fit right. Contacted manufacturer, they advised to contact Amazon. Amazon was very good about helping out. Options on what to do. Quick service on that. Also the centre legs seem higher than the outside legs. Fixable. But I spent a lot of money to have to fix it all myself. It is a nice looking cabinet.

This stand fit my needs perfectly because of the dimensions ...
This stand fit my needs perfectly because of the dimensions, lack of glass doors and storage space. I wish I had paid more attention to the reviews that described assembly difficulties - I anticipated the instructions being challenging and was ready to work through that. What I was prepared for was the fact that in some of the pieces the pre-drilled holes were too big for the screws provided. For example, there are two part "E"s; the screws fit into one with no problem but would not tighten in the other because the pre-drilled holes were bigger. In the middle of assembly we had to go out to purchase something that would work.I can live with difficult directions but sending pieces that are impossible to assemble is simply not acceptable. I regret this purchase.

Cheap wood, over priced, only looks good
Wood is from pine, really soft, dents and warps easily. Fittings sometimes do not come together well as the wood splits and cracks. Particle board furniture from IKEA is stronger than the cheap wood they used in making this product, which is really over priced. I am pretty handy, and it took me a good 6 hours to put it together. I do not think I will buy any more Simpli Home products.
