I had bought this for my elderly mom (since then, I bought two more, one for my father and myself). She was a frail, old lady and used it for more than 4 years throughout the year with no problem whatsoever. It's very warm, works great and safe with no EM to worry about. Its also great for bad backs. After she passed away, I drained the water and found residue coming out. I had used spring water all the time (instead of the distilled water per instruction) thinking it didn't matter, but it did. So if you want to use this machine optimally, you need to use distill water, regularly sanitize (using the sanitize button) and drain the water.

Navien is one of the most well known brand in Korea so I didn't have a doubt like other cheaply made electronic products. Since you are technically sleeping above "heated water" you are free from electromagnetic waves that can cause problems for some people.What makes it great is that I initially bought this so that I can get warmth when I sleep but when I found out that you can raise the heat to higher than what I consider a normal comfortable, I can kind of use it temporarily as a large heating pad for my back and legs. Just remember not to fall asleep with it that high because you will sweat like crazy.

It is a good photo, but some areas got moisturized after one year. The problem is I do not have anyway to get service. If the company notes it, it will be great in the future.

It heats the bed wonderfully however the pad bunches up creating lumps that restrict heat flow.

Navien mat is one of the greatest buys I had recently. Very well designed, sturdy but light weight, and yet very comfortable. A good addition to keep me warm throughout the year without concerns of EMF waves or fire that I had with electric mats

This is so hard to maintain so I can't recommend it to anyone. Even if you properly remove/use filtered water, it will get molds inside and will get clogged which will cause an issue. Mine started not working in less than 2 years but only used about 6 months in total during cold weather. It's impossible to clean inside the boiler or the hose since they don't come apart, you just need to use the kit to remove the water manually and that won't be enough to clean..It's just way too much work but doesn't last long. Please re-consider and do some research before you make a purchase.

It's been about a month since I bought this product, which I loved when I was in Korea, and it's still working well. This gives me a comfortable sleep.

I bought during last black friday deal and have been using it for about 3 months. So far, I’m very happy with it. I put it on 104 Fahrenheit and it’s very warm, sometimes hot. I like it that way. If you want little cooler, just use a lower setting.
