ScepterFR1D501 SmartControl™ 5 Gallon Diesel Can

Purchased a few of these and so far they have not leaked and have been easy to operate to get the fuel where you need it. Do be advised, it will take several minutes to empty the five gallons into your tank. These types of spouts can only pour so fast. I do like the top handle design and indent to get a good grip from the bottom since the can needs to be raised in a position to let gravity do it's work. Without good handle placement and secondary grip this could get pretty tiring on the arms. I also like the fact these cans are not easy to tip over when full. A longer more flexible spout would be nice as I seem to always have a small amount I can't get out of the can do the the angle needed to tilt the can and the short spout. The bottom line is that for the price I'll definitely buy more of these cans if I were to need them, they are a quality product and do their job.

Of all the annoying 'Ever-Spill' nozzles on all the fuel cans these days, this one is actually the least irritating and least leaky.. works pretty good. Of course it also went right in the trash to be replaced by a standard nozzle (also ordered from amazon)... The can its self is a great durable can, I have many of them, mostly the red gasoline variety, but they are all the same except for Yellow to drop the hint that its diesel and not gas.

I can not give the containers a good rating due to the fact that the spouts and the strainers inside make them difficult to use. To many "safety" features and they actually cause spills. Give me the old fashioned gas can w/o strainers and push buttons to make the spout work.

Seems high quality plastic. Have not used so still worried about spout but looks like it will work great.

I probably ordered the wrong product this time.I was looking for a can that I could use to fill my RV diesel fuel tank.This product looks like it would be good to a top fill tank like a tractor.For my RV, I had to remove the filler and use a funnel.

This can does NOT leak. It took me a bit to figure out how to work it but it does work & the fuel comes out at a decent rate! It is nice NOT spilling fuel all over my tractor, which is the reason I bought it since the tank is on top of the tractor!

Good high quality has a spot on bottom to have a bungie cord or ratchet strap sit so you can easily secure it to a vehicle. Pour nozzle is high quality, easy to use and has a dust cap.
