I was Looking for a solar powered light for my outdoor flag. After reading reviews I turned to product descriptions. AMIR met my needs best. Now it is plastic so keep that in mind for application purposes. I took a few extra steps to ensure it would hold up since we have some pretty wild storms. Silicone tape around the lens cover, cable connection & mounted the solar panel on a wide 8" board that I painted & added a non slip backing since I was going to place it in the corner of my porch above the gutter on the roof.As with others the cord length was an issue and I have a large tree shading the front thus the reason for my innovation for roof mounting to catch the sun most of the day.It's bright on low to light the full flag all night. I tried it on bright & it was still working just before it started getting light. I opted for low since it is less of a strain on battery life and dies great.The switch on the back of the solar panel is set to off. Cover the panel push the switch once is low, push again it's on high once more & it's off. Clear instructions included as is mounting hardware. Adjust screws on light and panel allow optimum positioning.All things considered it works as stated and an affordable solution to a cost free lighting of my outdoor flag.

Great light for lighting my dogwood tree BUT the tree is in a shaded area and the cord that comes with the unit just didn't allow me (not long enough) to get the solar panel to a place where it can collect enough energy for the light to operate properly. Here is what I did and it worked perfectly. I went to my local hardware store and bought 15 feet of 24 gauge stranded speaker wire. You obviously have to cut your cord that comes with the light (which kind of freaks you out) and splice the section you bought at the hardware store (mine was 15 feet) between the cord you cut. KEEP IN MIND the wire used here is very fragile so great care must be used in stripping the insulation off so the splicing can be done. I just twisted the two wires together and used electrical tape over the splice. I'M SURE THIS PROCEDURE VOIDS ANY WARRANTY FOR RETURNS so be sure this is what you want to do. Worked great for me!

Our home address is on a well head cover in our front yard and because of the huge pine trees it only gets "direct" sunlight for maybe an hour during the day. We have tried other solar powered lights but none have charged very well and the light would only last a couple hours into the evening. We were looking for something that would illuminate our address for the whole night and that I could put the solar panel somewhere else other than right on top of the light to hopefully pick up more sunlight. I ordered this because of that and I'd have to say I have been very impressed so far. As you can see in the picture I mounted the panel on the top of the well house roof and the light is down on the ground. Solar panel seems to pick up a lot more indirect sunlight and powers the lamp all night! The lamp is far brighter than any of these i have had before!! So far so good!!

When I received my product, I noticed that one of the stakes was missing. My plan is install both parts in the ground, so I needed the 2 stakes that I ordered. I ended up having to go to the local hardware store to buy a dowel and whittle it down to fit. Since I just received it yesterday, I can't really say how good the battery life is. I did see how bright it was after setting on my patio table late yesterday afternoon and waking up this morning to a bright light on my deck. Looking forward to seeing how well it works for my flag.

I ordered this as a night light for my net 15' flag pole. I mounted it under the eave of the house and there is plenty of sort to mount the solar panel in any area to allow for good sun exposure. The brightness aluminates the flag very well and stays on quite late, I have not timed it to dawn but it stays on a long time. The price is very good for the value and I do recommend this light

I bought this light to illuminate my flag at night. I have only had it working 2 days and it works fine. The only problem was the first package only had one ground stake in it , although the box shows 2. I returned it and received another order which, again, only had one stake in it. That needs to be illustrated better if only one stake is to be included.I am just replacing this light after running a365 days a year, rain or shine. Two of the led bulbs burned out but it still works.
