I will never go back to a regular mop
I *love* my flat mop. I’ve had many different kinds of mops over the years. After getting sick of the way most mops spread dirty water around, I got a hard floor shampooer. That was fine for a while — it did a great job cleaning the floor and left it nearly dry. But it was a pita to use: it took forever to clean the floor and when you were done, you had to clean the machine too.In walks the flat mop. I first heard of this from the Fly Lady (check her out — she sells a lot of excellent cleaning tools). After watching a video on her flat mop, I bought one. And it was great! You can mop the floor and clean the bucket out in no time. It does a great job cleaning despite not segregating dirty and clean water (more on that later), and, like the shampooer, it leaves the floor nearly dry (well, damp maybe, but definitely not *wet*). What’s more, it’s much easier to maneuver. The head pivots as you move it around the floor and because the mop head is so flat, it fits under and around furniture that the shampooer couldn’t.For everyone complaining about the design of the wash/dry sides: this is by design. It is not a mistake. When you plunge the mop into the full “wash” side (I plunge it a couple times each time, if that makes sense), yes it does wash the dirt into the wash water. But when you then plunge it into the empty “dry” side, it squeezes all the excess water off, routing it back into the “wash” side and leaves you with a clean, moist (but not wet) pad, ready to wash the floor. I’m telling you, I have dogs and sometimes my floor is a lot dirtier than I’d like to admit, but somehow, even when it’s bad, the pad comes out looking clean once you do the wash-dry plunges. The Oshang flat mop is even better than the FlyLady mop *gasp*. The handle is longer and sturdier (did I mention you can also use it to clean cobwebs from the ceiling?). It doesn’t seem to have the same issue the FlyLady mop had (I say “had” because the FlyLady mop seems to have been discontinued -?) whereby the mop head was held on by a pin that slips out over time. And the Oshang mop bucket makes better use of space by reducing the volume of the “dry” side. One tiny bit of critical feedback: it comes with one regular mop pad and one scrubby mop pad. I wish it included at least 2 regular mop pads. Overall 10/10.

Mop head broke after 2 months
I bought this two months ago and used it About 4 times. The plastic anchor that help retain the black plastic base holder where the microfiber cloth attached to snap off/broke.Update: the reason I gave a 1 star was the fact that my initial contact with the seller telling them that the mop broke after 4 uses. I was given a link to purchase a new head. For this reason I gave it a 1 star because the seller is telling me indirectly that they don’t stand by their quality assurance. After my review they contacted me and offer to replace the head. I understand that from time to time there maybe a defective piece and as long as the company acknowledged and replace the defective item then there should be no concern. For this reason I am giving this a five star based on my experience. I owned 5 of these mops with the most recent one broke prematurely. My first one was about 7 years ago. They all still working. For best result I recommend having two buckets (this means you have to buy 2). One bucket I fill with mop solution. The 2nd one I fill with water to rinse out the dirty mop after cleaning the floor and before I dip back to the mop solution bucket. This way you can empty and refill the water bucket as frequently as needed to keep the mop clean so that the dirty mop doesn’t contaminate the mop solution. Other system that use only one bucket you are basically spreading dirt solution on the floor. This mip is great because it is self clean as long as your bucket contains clean water.

Compact, well designed. Really a game changer for me.
Ok so this is a microfiber mop. Many are out there, this one is special. Those of you who are worried about rinsing with "dirty water" if you use the correct amount of cleaner it's not an issue. Most all purpose cleansers you use about ONE OUNCE per GALLON for a no rinse floor cleaner, all it does is float the dirt in the water. The mop and the water do the work for you.I have never had such an easy time cleaning a floor. The amount of time it saved was great, it left the floor almost dry too, and very very clean. Personally I wouldn't bother with the "drain" in the bucket, it's not practical, and really the only thing designed badly. when you open it it opens "down" so the mop water instantly is ramped into the air by hitting the plug, and your hand. If it was the other way around it would be better, but really it's not that practical anyway. It is so easy to remove that squeegy top thingie and just pour it into a toilet or sink or whatever. If you do use the drain it comes out with some force so be careful. I see complaints of squeaking on this thing, I suspect this is a serial over soaping issue, most of these cleansers will leave crystals when they dry, rinsing the handle at the joint will likely help, it could just be dirt too. Just put a drop of light oil on it.I like very much that the handle is so long. I am not a giant but at 6' tall it's often an issue for me. That mop that goes "swif" is an example of how to give someone my height lower back issues. This one, not so. Also it comes with multiple attachments so you can make it whatever height you want, and I read in one question here that the company is happy to send another along to you if you are 8 feet tall or something.Really I have never been so pleased with a purchase like this. And I hate the term "game-changer" but unfortunately it fits, so I MUST say it. You will not regret your purchase.Note: The base only folds on way to use the bucket and will break if you try to use it in the in the other direction. There is a relief in the side that it folds to for use in the bucket.

Most pleased
I purchased this 3 years ago. I still love it. I have had to replace mop pads and glue the velcro back down but it been worth it. Love the way it mops and does great on walls.
