As a regular spotting scope its fantastic for my hunting pack. Takes up a lot less room than my big one. But, I run and iPhone 11 Pro which has 3 camera lenses. I bought this because on the Q&A on Amazon someone specifically asked if this device worked with the iPhone Pro. Someone from your company answered that it does, when in reality, there is now way to line all three camera lenses up through the single hole on the camera mount provided. Therefore I cannot get the most out of my phone or this scope. At best I have to mess with this and get a low quality image that’s not worth the hassle.Using it as a spotting scope, yes I like it.Using it for what I intended to use it for when I bought it, not with a multi-lens phone. If they redesign the phone mount, I'll change my review.

This is not bad at all for $30 with decent quality lens and light weight if you are looking for a binocular alternative. But when it comes to photos, it's a totally different game: the mount is too weak for this telescope and you constantly have to adjust its position, as even a slightest move of the telescope will affect your frame. Unless you zoom in a lot, your frame will be a circle in the middle and the rest of it is just darkness. If you are going to safari or a zoo, better practice with this thing, as you will miss most of the great moments. Otherwise, skip this product altogether and invest into professional photo equipment and lenses.

The media could not be loaded.  We love taking pictures. Right now me and the missus sit on around 20k pictures and i seen these one and decided to give one a try. They are actually pretty cool. First it has a pretty good magnification i think is around 500mm?. Now the focus button could be a bit softer specially aince u holding the phone. On the package comes with everything u need. First put the phone holder on the tripod and try attaching the scope but this didnt work so well so instead attached the scope to the tripod and phone to the holder on the back. On my galacy s10 i had to put the camera zoomed in not to see the black edges of the holder , should be make bigger but again it needs to fit in the scope. Zooming in fixes this issue. For video is even better since the video zooming is diferent than images so there is no black area. Also using it with no phone cover is better, get it as close to the camera as possible.It weight but not too much. Looks well build and comes with cover. In general happy with it..

Traditionally I’ve used binoculars for events, but I was looking for something more flexible. I found this, and even though I use it primarily for watching sports events, I am glad for the accessories and option to connect it to my phone for pictures. Well, not for sports pictures, but it works great for distant images of still objects.I can’t really compare it to those small accessory lenses that people use with their phones, since I never saw the value proposition in them. But if that is all you’re looking for, it would be much more portable than taking this on a trip with you.

Product appears to be high quality but does not do what billed to do. The hook up device so you can see image on cell phone is terrible and image on phone is only about an inch across -- if you can even get the holder and cell phone camera lens to align (almost impossible to get that right). Very disappointed. Also, this is second Chinese technology item I have received in last month and they really need to get an American to proof their directions. Terrible English and explanations. Even if the product was great, it is a terrible way for buyer to start off as looks like a 8-year old prepared the text.

No sure why there are so many good reviews but this thing does not work as well as indicated. Picture quality is poor using it on my phone and the field of view is small just using it as a monocular. I have returned the item and I am still waiting for a refund.

I bought my wife a new smart phone for Christmas and thought it a good idea to add one of these to improve the zoom, It shows a full picture on the ad screen, but all it produces is a tiny dot. This item is absolutely ridiculous, I am returning it for a full refund.

I use it mostly for sightseeing. I love how easily you can add a camera and this increases the zoom at lease five times more. It is lightweight but high quality. As soon as you hold in in your hand, it does not feel cheap but instead, very well made. Just a note. The monocular should be used with the focus knob at the top and the tripod screw at the bottom.

BUYER BEWAREHaving used it more in the field this thing feel apart, ty-pod no longer hold up the binoculars and binoculars no longer focus and the focal point has gotten smaller. STAY AWAY.What a get product for getting a close up photo with your phone, or just using it as telescope. Set up was easy just place your phone in the holder and place on the telescope and adjust the dial to focus our image and click the photo button.

These didn't really work for my phone as it was too wife and the camera wasn't in the middle. But just as a generic monocular. If you like two eyes this isn't for you. But it made great views even at night 1km away at the cottage. So far so good!
