We ate this for the first time in Kyoto Japan and the second time from this order from amazon and it's still amazing. This is the best ramen with a nice firm noodle, silky soup, and great flavor profile. This is our favorite flavor and if you make some shoyu eggs and pork to add to it it's even more amazing. If you've never tried this you're seriously missing out especially if you love ramen. This is like ramen on steroids and it's so good. Closest thing to eating Japanese ramen if you've never been to Japan or a ramen restaurant.

It’s so good! It’s just as easy as making another other ramen but the quality of noodle and broth is amazing. The noodles still have a bit of bounce and the broth is as good as homemade stock (if not a little bit saltier than home made stock). At $6 a bowl I’m not going to be eating it every day but when I want ramen I’ll def hold off and buy this again to.

The flavor, quality, and texture of the noodles was as close to restaurant Ramen as we've had. I got this to taste test with the family based on a YouTube video I watched where several Asian chefs reviewed different instant Ramen brands and this one landed at the top for all of them. The soup flavoring was in liquid form in a pouch and provided great flavor and umami. What was lacking to make it great? There were no garnishes/dried additions like oyster, enoki, or shiitake mushrooms to elevate it beyond great broth and noodles. If you made this as a base and added some bits of pork...Chashu (braised pork), Kakuni (slow-cooked pork belly), some aforementioned dried mushrooms, and perhaps a boiled egg, you'd end up with a pretty darn tasty dish at home. This kit is way better than the cheaper Ramen with wavy noodles that is bagged. There are 5 servings in the kit...5 individually ribbon rapped sets of noodles, 5 liquid soup base packets, and 5 spice/heat packets. We made 2 servings for the kids and used just one of the spice/heat packets so it wasn't too spicy for them and they loved it. I like hot...so for me...I'll be using the additional heat packet not used yet for my tastes.

I had high expectations for this kit, and they were exceeded. The broth is restaurant quality, and absolutely delicious. The spicy powder is VERY spicy, so use it moderately if that's not your thing.

These are by far my favorite noodles. The stock is a bit salty but worth it.
