Not for me...
Burner arrived with bent connectors, which is not horrible since they can easily be straighten but certainly not ideal. When you buy something new, one expects it to arrive in new condition.Once inserted into the stove, could not get the burner to lay flat. Really stuck up on opposite end of connectors. Fiddled with burner for 15 minutes and got it to semi lay into slots. Still unlevel.Replacing the newer burners with the silly switch since light weight pans have issue. Tried this burner out by simply boiling water. Firstly, the pan was far from level since the burner was unlevel. Took about twice as long to boil water compared to the stock burner.Nothing wrong with stove, less than 6 months old and was listed as compatible. Sorry, I just cannot recommend this burner.

worked perfectly
I wasn't sure if this is the exact part for my Amana stove. In fact, I'm still not sure if it's the right one. But it works. Took a little jimmying to get it to fit, but now it fits perfectly. And it heats up faster that the other element I replaced. (I think the previous owners had installed incorrect coils and this one corrected the problem.) Very satisfied with my purchase.

Needed to be modified to make it fit.
Priced lower than in our local hardware stores. However, even though it appeared the correct item, it would not sit inside the rim. The leg of the supporting tripod opposite the terminals extended out too far. I had to bend it taking care not to damage the element. Proved to take a lot of force to bend it far enough to fit. Once installed it worked well, heating up really fast.

It Works!
Replaced old unit with this one. And it began to function as soon as I turned the knob on the stove. Children won't starve! Might get burned if they do something silly, but at least their demise won't be due to hunger. A real lifesaver. Cheers!
