The bean of nostalgia
Fresh and absolutely delicious! I don’t understand the negative reviews. These beans were perfect.I’m part Vietnamese, and crave different kinds of chè constantly. Many Asian cultures use beans for mainly sweet dishes/desserts, and Vietnamese cuisine is no exception. Although, adzuki beans can absolutely be used for substitutes in savory dishes, too. The flavor and texture is very reminiscent of black eyed peas. Nice creamy texture, and not a super strong flavored bean, so you wont have to worry about masking it.As an adult, I wanted to start making my own chè. But I wanted it to be a bit more nutritious. Vietnamese cuisine likes to use adzuki beans, as well. My mom used to make me a variation called Chè Đậu Trắng that had black eyed peas in it. She made it all the time when I was little. So, I decided to place a mix of these and yellow split mung beans into my instant pot with water(rest your finger on the surface of the beans so your finger points downwards, and add water to first digit on your finger. This trick works for any and all grains and beans. A trick from my mom and it works every single time.)Pressure cook on high for 30 mins, then added coconut milk; allulose (my sweetener of choice); and a nice healthy dose of the secret ingredient in any good dessert: salt! (I use pink salt)Mix it all up, and eat it as a delicious sweet porridge, or pour it over cooked sticky millet with lotus seeds.I can almost promise you’ve never had anything better. It’s like a warm hug from my mom and my grandma.I guess what I’m trying to say is, these adzuki beans are capable of sparking wonderful memories. And, hey, if a simple bean can make me feel this nostalgic and happy, I think they’re definitely worth a try.

A good beneficial bean!
I'm learning so much about the health benefits that some foods, herbs and spices can give us so we can do away with some of this pharmaceutical products. From digestive, to cardiac to diabetes, this is a good one to eat, put in a tea. However you like to.

Sprouts
Why did you pick this product vs others?:Bought these to grow for funsies. Like 80% of them sprouted. Can't attest to the cooking value at this point, but they're handsome little plants

Good quality beans claimed to be organic, but by who knows
Good quality beans, but I’m not sure the difference between this or buying and the Japanese store
