Very useful bags for many things. Used for herbs in cooking but I also used them to make lavender bags when trimming back lavender in the garden.

The Yumi V 50 Pieces Muslin Bags are just okay. They're basic drawstring bags made of 100% cotton, and while they're reusable, they lack any standout features. The size is decent, but the overall quality feels average. I used them for tea and coffee filtering, and they did the job, but the drawstrings aren't the most durable. They're suitable for snacks and crafts, but nothing special. The quantity is good for the price, but I expected a bit more in terms of durability and design. Overall, they're functional, but I wouldn't call them exceptional or particularly noteworthy.

Poorly made but ok for some things

Initially I was disappointed they were so small - my fault as I didn't notice the size (3" x 4") in the product description. See attached pics. I was expecting about 6" x 8" like the one I was replacing. Having said that, on first use I realised the size was perfect for its intended use!These little bags come well prepared and packed, classy looking so make good, natural fibre gift bags, lavender bags, etc. The strings are long enough to tie in a bow, making them easy to open and re-use.I am using them for jam/marmalade making. In the batch shown, I have used three bags. Each one is just big enough for the core, pips and chopped fine peel of one cooking apple, so I used two for the apple, and the third contains the fruit pips. The smaller size means they float around much better in the simmering fruit than one large bag. They're also much easier to squeeze the pectin out of, at the end - not so unwieldy - and you can do this sooner because they cool down more quickly.A great purchase and good value.Country of origin: China.

These are great to use in cooking - add herbs, whole leaves, chillies, immerse in the dish whilst cooking then remove before serving. Ypu get all the flavour without having to fish out bay leaves etc
