Briggs and Stratton 312699GS Capacitor

Product works. Really no other reason to give it less than 5 stars. Only issue I had was that the package that the product came in was completely destroyed. Almost sent the product back but after testing it in my generator, it worked with no issues.

Since installing this Brigg & Stratton standby generator in 2008 there have been three capacitor failures. Sept. 2016, June 2019, and now Nov. 2021. The generator requires two 35 microfarad capacitors and when one fails you are supposed to replace both. It seem obvious that the quality of these capacitors has been compromised over the years and the price has gone from $44 to $65 to $88 now. Brigg and Stratton has chosen to go with a low cost source and raise the price at the same time. I'll be looking for a better value out there if one exists. These capacitors are about an inch and a half in dia by about five inches long.

OEM. Worked great. Got my generator running again.

Was not replacement as advertised. Had to reorder. Buyer beware.

Perfect replacement, fixed my low voltage problem.

The capacitors fit well and cured my low voltage issue. The only minor issue was they were not secured in their box very well. They were loose in the package when I received them. Update: Like other reviews, these are only lasting about a year. Very frustrating.
