cozy warmth for two small dogs
My dogs and cats all adore K&H products heated pet beds enough that I have several. They use them year round, but especially in the fall and winter. The beds get warm from pressure and only heat to slightly above room temperature so you don't have to worry about it being on all day or your pet getting too hot like with an electric blanket. This item is a great size along with having soft sides my dogs can snuggle into. They both easily share this bed with room to spare. The cats like this bed also, but never get to use it, as the chihuahuas spend all day in it. Of the four styles of K&H heated beds that I have, this one is by far my favorite.

Great for the old timers
I had bought this for my senior dog. She was old and frail so I got this to keep her comfortable. I would "make her bed up" with a puppy pad and old towels because she was incontinent and this never overheated from the extra layers. I honestly loved this bed and kept it after she passed and the other dogs eventually started using it. Unfortunately it got skunked up from one of them and we had to toss it but I kept the warmer to put in another bed. This whole bed is washable. The cover comes off the frame and the cushion can go in as is. The warmer comes out for washing. I highly recommend this bed

Keeps our kitties warm!
We love K&H thermo beds! Bought several round ones that are still going strong. Decided to buy this larger one for our 25 pound kitty and she loves it e(when the other two cats let her use it!) Will buy another one when they are back in stock. Great product!

Nice and warm
I bought two of these to keep the outdoor dogs warm. Once they lay down, the heat starts. They love it on cold nights. Needs to be in a covered area with a power outlet.

My cat doesn’t not know how he survived without this
The media could not be loaded. We have been using heating pads for my 15 year old cat and he loves them. He had a very hard time last winter and seemed to be a little grumpy and uncomfortable through the colder months. This year he has three heated areas, one of which is this bed he got from Santa! He sleeps here exclusively and is constantly purring. He does not seem to have the same general discomfort even though we have entered the colder months. He is a much more relaxed cat in general when he’s in his bed and doesn’t seem to get startled or intimidated by things happening around him.He is a larger cat, weighing 16lbs, which is the reason I chose a dog bed rather than a heated cat bed. I only wish the pillow inside was a little heavier weight but the cat does not mind at all.

Do not put in washing machine
It says it’s machine washable. My dog peed on it and I washed the cover in my washing machine as directed. Now I am cleaning hundreds of tiny plastic pellets out of my washing machine.

Underwhelming, but great concept
The concept of this bed is pretty fabulous and I've had a few for my cats that I have no complaints about (except that I find it challenging to remove and wash the cover). However, the dog bed is not working out as well. Our pup was spending too much time sneaking up on our bed early in the morning and I realized the poor thing might be cold so this was my solution. She absolutely loves it, but after a few months the pillow is losing its shape, getting bunched up against the side so she's essentially laying on the floor (the bottom is not very padded) with her side on the warmed pillow. I suspect this is why we have been getting more visits and why my back is killing me trying to maneuver around her in my bed. I suspect that the low electricity demand means the heating pad isn't strong enough to warm through a giant fluffy pillow and this is why the pillow is very understuffed.I have found that it helps to tuck a blanket around the inside of the outer edge to keep the pillow from shifting too much. I think they need to redesign the interior similarly, maybe with some foam across the entire bottom with a slightly hollowed area in which the less dense pillow and warmer can sit. Looks like I'll have to rig something up myself.

Great for Older Dogs
I specifically bought this bed for my older dog. I was searching for a soft and heated bed for some weeks when I came across this bed from K&H. I read the reviews and went ahead with my purchase. My dog is a Chihuahua Terrier mix and normally, she likes to sleep in my bed. However, when I'm not home, I want her to sleep in her own bed where she is comfortable. I've had this dog bed for a few months and am content with my purchase. The heating pad in the bed heats up by plugging the cord into an outlet. It takes about 30 min for the pad to warm up. The first time I heated it up and encouraged my dog to try out the bed, she did not want to leave. She loved the warmth so much. When it's not plugged in, she still loves the bed. I think the second best thing about this bed is that it's lined on all sides. When the bed is not plugged in and the wooden floors are cold, my dog doesn't feel the cold at all.I once forgot to unplug the heating pad for a few hours, but it never burned through. Some other heated beds burn easily, but this one surprisingly does not. I recommend keeping an eye on the bed when it's plugged in, especially when you care about the well-being of your dog. In my case, my dog did not mind the warmth and didn't want to be disturbed when it was warm. I hope this heated dog bed lasts because I don't want to buy one every 5 months. I will update this review in a few months if anything happens. Overall, I am extremely happy with this purchase.
